Many have ridiculed PBC in the past and they seem to still be doing it.

BJS gets 750K
Haney gets a cool 1 mill

Thats big bucks

Tevin Farmer is a multimillionaire lol

Tevin wants 5-6 mill to cross the street, DAZN will give Tank 5-6mill+ to fight Farmer

FFS who even knows who Farmer is??? He is the luckiest bloke in the sport, right place right time.

Davis should take the coin and give him a whooping lol, that is just way too easy I don't understand why he hasn't?

Davis must seceretly be pissed off with Floyd/PBC for holding him back surely?

Whatever way you paint it Saunders' achievements are light years ahead of Eubank Jr's
Yes,holding 2 recognised titles is better but if you break it down, who did he beat for both ? neither world beaters, especially for the suppermiddle title and he's had one decent win since the Eubank fight against someone beaten a few times already.

I'm not sure they are. Best win is Lemieux which was good but he lost a few already, opponent in common in O' Sullivan who jnr walloped yet Saunders went 12 with. Outside of that what is their that stands out ? He almost lost to Akavov and makes excuses after almost every fight. He is a talent but it rarely reveals itself.

I'll be glad once Saunders retires, so I don't even have to think about him any more.

Even his win over Eubank Jr was pretty boring, he did pretty much nothing for 6 of the rounds.

He is the most boring UK belt holder since Johnny Nelson.

The difference was, Nelson wasn't a nasty piece of work.

I'm not defending his record as such. It's not as good as it shoukd/could be by any means.

But since Eubank's best performances have mainly been in plucky defeats then Billy's record wins hands down.

Plus I don't count the ibo as a recognised world title

I don't really count the IBO either, but I'll rate wins over even a shopworn AA or Yildrim over a win over Isufi or Coceres, no matter the belts at stake. Overall BJS does have a better resume though and of course he won their head to head, though barely. He does often just scrape by though--ppl talk about motivation but it happens vs his better opponents too. He should really get his ass back to mw, doesn't look good at all at Smw and is small for the weight

Not really the point.
BJS can snoozefest his way to a lot of good wins.

Hmmm, Lemiuex was a stylish win, but he was so made for BJS.

Lee still his best win for me.

I think the Lemiuex win flatters him a lot. People were talking about him beating Canelo and GGG after that

Lemiuex and Lee are the only decent fighters he's even taken on. The rest are pure garage. And he so rarely fights... no preparation for Canelo, who fights better opponents twice a year and is pumped full of that sweet steroid meat... plus BJS won't even beat him on point (even if he does beat them)

The funny thing about the Lem fight, is that it's the only time he dominantly won vs anyone decent. On the other hand you have him scraping by Coceres, Akavov, Lee, Eubank, Ryder, as well as pushed by Blackwell etc...even Isufi hurt him and the 116-113 card vs Monroe was not out of line.

Yet somehow, for a lot of people, Lem represents the 'real' BJS, and all the others are just unmotivated BJS and those don't count. Let me remind you which was the anamolous win. And Lem was a good win no doubt, but let's remember Dave couldn't even put a glove on 'face defense' Golovkin. Perhaps a bit suited for a skilled defensive boxer?

Still, you gotta rate his career above CEJs and he has done very well. He's legit world class at MW and has done a solid list of accomplishments and wins for himself at the different levels, just that too many ppl after Lem talked of him as some boxing master maestro who could well school elites and I just don't see it. Andrade would've beat him too IMO but that was a real interesting matchup (though prob wud end up a dud to watch)

don't think BJS is a SMW that extra weight is making his boxing skills look less silky

This is a good point - BJS does get a pass for p1ssing his talent away.
BJS can win rounds against the ATGs and make the likes of Lem look like they shouldn't be in the same ring - but it's "the BEST BJS" that can do that that - not "the real" BJS. :TU:

I agree mate. His style is as dull as the paint on a ten year old Corsa. It's bizarre that him and Fury fight so defensively, when gypsies are known for bare knuckle brawling.

Fairly certain he must be staying at sosmw for the smith fight. Not quite as convinced as some with smith, but don’t think bjs could put a dent in him

Most of the bare knuckle fights I’ve seen are dull back foot affairs too Keith. Smith v Mason being one of the very few that wasn’t.
