Terrible scoring! Completely sours a great fight. So with the point off someone had ther for McGregor by four rounds? Complete bull**it. Alex Arthur is from Edinburgh and he had farooq winning.

Without the point deduction, McGregor still wins via majority decision.

Leaves a bit of a bad taste. Had some of McGregor's camp looked over the MC's shoulder to see the result and celebrated before it was read out?

McGregor got away with a lot of holding before the point was deducted. I thought Farooq outclassed him for most of the fight. One of the worst decisions I've seen. I hate to say it but I suspected Farooq would get robbed. McGregor is more marketable in Scotland.

Yeh and his corner even said he won by 4, and without the point deduction it was 4..

115-112 Farooq for me, top drawer fight as expected , a lot to like from both men, McGregor the stronger guy and landed the biggest shots and most hurtful looking , he finished the fight on top I had him taking the last few rounds to close the gap, still I had Farooq in a wide lead early on and still thought he deserved it, he was the better boxer, busier in most rounds, better defensively, better body punching, his head and upper body movement is first class, McGregor held too much for my liking , should've been docked earlier than the 10th, ref was too lenient

Fair play to McGregor though he came on strong landed some quality uppercuts throughout, Farooq's variety is class though, good jolting jab, lovely body work and slickness, he looked ragged by the end though, the head movement was gone and he had to slug it out while his eyes were busted up

Great fight though credit to both men, gutted for Farooq

Ya agree, was surprised some people thought it was an unwarranted deduction, McG held and pushed back Farooq loads up to that point.

I don't think it's a bad decision, the commentary was very biased to Farook.

McGreggor was messy but he landed a lot of leather. Farook was very tidy and looked quality, but he lost his form as he got more and more marked up.

Very bad.

Like the McGregor camp knew he had won..
Yeh I saw that. They were moving in towards McGregor to celebrate like they already knew the decision as they waited for the deciding score.

Think what may have happened is they heard 'new' and just assumed that meant their man? Remember Degale did that too vs Groves

I had it to Farooq by 2 rounds plus the deduction. Great fight, would love to see it again, neither man comes out of it looking bad. Wouldn't say it was a robbery, there was a lot of good work by McGregor on the back foot as well, so some tight rounds.

TBF, McG did really come into it late and made it close I felt, but even then IMO Farooq had put enough in the bank to be the winner, especially with the deduction. Defo some geneouristy to Lee there---I mean 8 rounds?

Accusations of robbery are completely over the top I think. I can see how people think that Farooq won, but it surely it was a close fight. If I include the pint deduction, I had McGregor 115-114.

I think that’s what happened. They seem to forget the other guy is undefeated.

Best man lost tonight. Still a cracking fight tho. But the judge who gave McGregor eight rounds wants a good hiding the dog.
