Eder Jofre at his very best probably was the best fighter pound per pound of his era. A complete fighter with unbelievable stamina and work rate.
The great Carlos Zarate of Mexico was probably the greatest pound per pound KO artist of his time, even with the greats like George Foreman, Earnie Shavers and his countryman Ruben Olivares withstanding. What a puncher!
But, Zarate may need more than punching power to beat this great Brazilian fighter.
I lean towards Jofre by decision or late stoppage like in the 13th or 14th round in a thrilling slugfest.
