Seeing a one sided if fight probably a 5/6 round stoppage for Callum , ignore Eddie Hearns usual bull shit this is a blown up middleweight against a boiled down lightheavyweight , using Rocky Fielding as a form guide Ryder loses a split decision & Callum stops him in the first round .

Callum as lanky as ever. He's gonna dominate this.

I dunno if it's fair calling Smith a boiled down LHW. He always makes weight. Has done for years. Hence, he is a SMW. Sure he can move up, but why would he, unless he cleans out SMW, there are still challenges out there for him. Unfortunately, this isn't really one of them :-?

I always like an upset and will be rooting for the Gorilla .

In theory he shouldn't stand a chance but would love to see it happen .

I like an upset too.
Thing is I would also like to see Smith clean out SMW. He has the Ali trophy, it would be nice to have an indisputable champion as well.
No matter the boxer, or division, having a #1 guy is good for the sport IMO.

Ryder brings a fight, but Smith is simply too wide-framed and strong for him.

Looking forward to this fight. Ryder is coming from a 4 stoppage wins streak against somewhat decent oponents. He has no intention to lose, despite he will be massive underdog. It will be good fight :box: :box: :box: :box:

Edit: who has other belts in 168lbs?

Was Willie Monroe the one where Saunders had a huge Barney at a public workout and kept shouting

‘We’re ready to go now’

And hilariously knocked Monroe’s trainers cap off? Or was that someone else.

It’s the one time I’ve found Saunders’s antics mildly amusing.

I can't remember that mate. Possibly. I just remember his wee boy walking up and hitting Monroe and giving him dogs abuse.

Ryder is in great shape. He is a skillful boxer and has a bit more pop at super middle.

It's a tough ask but I'll be rooting for the lad. I remember a post fight interview where he basically said if he hadn't of won the fight he'd have been back in the roads working for a living. He was so close to jacking it in.

If he wins this he can change his family's life.
