But there is no extra-time ?
They're just picking whoever they feel like - presumably whoever will make their tournament more fun to watch.
IMO that was Ofori.

Anyone disagree ?
fair point. They should keep the other lad on stanby for the semi's just in case anyone is injured.. That's fair.

Surtees dropped heavily off a straight left hand and the referee stops the fight in round 5. Game effort from Surtees to be fair, different levels.

I get what your saying but if they have both won the same amount of rounds it would be unfair to the fighter who hasn't got the fan pleasing style. I can see your view though

Mimoune's class and Surtees lack of experience told in the end, great start from Surtees , looks like he punches hard judging by the noise of his shots landing, scored a cracking knockdown in the 2nd, right hand down the pipe but after that Mimoune took over, took Surtees apart,l and I thought Mimoune was on verge of stopping him sooner, the left hand to finish Surtees was heavy

Still good entertainment regardless but if the original line-up stayed together this would have been a very good tournament on paper, Akeem Ennis Brown is a very elusive boxer and Yigit has obviously mixed it at European/World level. Zhankosh Turarov was also an unfortunate drop out who would have been among the faves with the bookies.

I hadn't realised Yigit and Turarov had dropped out till earlier on.

I thought the right hook before the final left hand did most of the damage. The left hand only partially landed.

Comfortable win for McKenna, after Sakyi hurt him in the 2nd to the body he ran out of ideas and never let his hands go and McKenna easily outboxed him
