Pretty normal looking Wilder fight so far. One punch should change the fight in the next couple of rounds.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz II - 23 November 2019
think I have got it Ortiz 5-0-1. Wilder needs to throw some windmills.

Hit Ortiz right on the forehead and down he went. Ortiz was never beating the count, completely scrambled his senses.

Yeh it is typical from him. He literally just relies on that one shot.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz II - 23 November 2019
Wilder landed exactly 0 punches in round 5. Yet someone on the US broadcast team have Wilder that round....
Ortiz won nearly every round before the stoppage. I'm interested in seeing the cards.

Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz II - 23 November 2019
Wilder wouldn't even be a top 50 fighter without that power. Such a difference.

He did but Smith and Macklin especially, what are they like? You’d think Ortiz was landing at will. I bet his success rate with his left hand was about 5%, despite ‘mastering and controlling the distance’Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑24 Nov 2019, 01:41What was Adam Smith like? He was falling short with a lot of his work. He was winning the fight but it’s like they’ve never seen a Wilder fight.
Deontay was relatively relaxed. He’s average but with ridiculous power in that right hand. He knew it was coming
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz II - 23 November 2019
Yes!
I'm ready, lets see the cards.
I couldn't give Wilder a round, even the 7th he was losing..

Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz II - 23 November 2019
Wilder basically said ‘I was waiting for the one shot, letting him build his confidence then leave me openings. He was tiring a little. To beat me you need to be perfect for 12 round’
