I forgot about Usyk, but I think that Fury is more skilled then Ortiz. Agreeing with you that it would be a good match up between this two guys.Impractical Poster wrote: ↑24 Nov 2019, 02:29 I actually think Ortiz is more skilled than Fury. Ortiz-Fury would be an interesting match-up.

Fury's mobility would be a real issue for Ortiz I think. Ortiz is skilled but a bit plodding and sometimes overly methodical.

But seriously, read my posts and you see I've given him plenty of credit for what he is. Lol how do you hate on a guy yet pick him over everyone. I just can't buy this improvment and boxing skill/iq stuff coming out...that is pure BSquad spin and since you say I'm not never gonna give him credit might as well call you on it![]()
I woke up for this, gonna do the same time next time out.

It almost makes me think Wilders tactic is to look as basic and lazy as possibly throughout a fight to lure the opponent into a false sense of security. Or he is actually that basic and lazy, knows it but hey it works so far.
Ortiz was up every round, probably got too complacent then BAM.

Wilder did well to block a lot punches with his gloves. Did anyone else notice? Not all of what Ortiz landed was clean..
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz II - November 23, 2019
I recall him landing a very soft lunging left hook. But it was more of a pawing action than a punch.
I suspect Compubox has just counted a punch as was there contact between the glove and a scoring zone. Regardless of the degree of impact.

What do people on here think of Wilder's team?
From what I see he hasn't improved on his basic skills since he was an amateur.
Are the corner useless or is he not capable of improving?
