If he had done his job properly Tyson Fury would have lost his first fight with big John Mc D.
Re: Terry O'Connor
He waved the Calzaghe / Manfredo fight off after Calzaghe shadowboxed a combo.
The fact that the BBBofC had to change their rules on judging British title eliminators and English title fights after the Fury / Mc Dermott fight because him should have been the end of him as he is just a consistently awful official

Re: Terry O'Connor
I missed the Bowen Cacace fight on Sat but apparently big fat Tel had another sketchy card on that one! Anyone see it?

Ya it seemed like Cacace desrved a close decision, a point or two, but Tel had it 8-4 I think for Bowen
Re: Terry O'Connor
IJL is worse. IJL once scored a prize fighter bout 30-27 in favour of a guy that had been dropped

Agree, bad as a ref and judge. Recently gave Ohara Davies a multiple point victory in a fight he shoulda lost, and that aint even close to being among his worse ones

I thought Cacace deserved to win but it was a close, competitive fight and Bowen also had a point taken off too, Terry's card was unsurprisingly poor.

Re: Terry O'Connor
For someone to be in boxing for that long and make SO many clangers suggests more than incompetence.
Can anyone point to any occasions where he’s given a lopsided dec to an unknown African or unpronounceable East European who wasn’t ‘supposed to’ win ?

Can’t think of any ref or judge that’s ever done that, it’s probably a coincidence but it’s always the house fighter that benefits.

It’s probably not !

Eddie's inside man! Wouldn't fuckin surprise me one bit!
Ruiz camp should dig their heels in and tell Hearn to punt that fat wank to fukk if he's anywhere near that fight.

Re: Terry O'Connor
The odd dodgy scoring in favour of the home fighter and people may chuckle in a “ nudge, nudge, wink, wink” kind of way - but this guy has taken it to a whole new piss taking level
Re: Terry O'Connor
That score is possible. Unlike a foul, there is no automatic point deduction if you're knocked down, and it's still possible for you to win the round 10-9 if you've been knocked down. In practice, however, the guy who got KDd would need to spend pretty much the rest of the round beating the snot out of his opponent.
