Couldn't agree more Kiwi my friend. Maybe a mod will see this and allow the good, but sometimes mispathed lad to return.

For the most part he was a really good poster on boxing. Just don't mention Breidis
Maybe a mod could just ban him from off topic, but let him post here? That's what they did with me

I would vote Wilder to 1

For beating a guy he already beat, and by doing worse along the way?
I could barely give him a round, and I had him losing the 7th until he wasn't.

Some call me a Wilder hater and say that I'll never give him any credit, and then yet I'm too generous to him

You just can't win. I'd put him at number one now. But if Ruiz beats AJ again, I'll put Ruiz back on top based on beating AJ two times. I think AJ is better than Ortiz. (hmmm...that would be a good matchup).margaret thatcher wrote: ↑25 Nov 2019, 15:52 Some call me a Wilder hater and say that I'll never give him any credit, and then yet I'm too generous to him![]()

Is this the same Ortiz who's best win came against Jennings almost 4 years ago, when he was 36(ish) and was eventually dropped off the books at Matchroom for poor performance, and was deemed unsuitable for AJ because of it?oogiebe wrote: ↑25 Nov 2019, 16:00You just can't win. Sure Ortiz came in better this time for Wilder, and I think we all knew he was the one to make adjustments the second time around, but he is old and quite slow. Hence I don't think he will do that well against most of the top ten guys. Just because Wilder makes him look good, doesn't mean he actually is. Think back over his other fights, all the guys he has beaten, would likely get beaten by most of the current top ten.
Ortiz against AJ? I doubt he would put on a better showing than Takem, and that was a little hard to watch in places.

I already had Wilder #1 after Josh lost. If ruiz beat him again I'd bump him past Fury and Wilder.

Agreed. Had Wilder gone through him in under 4 rounds, it would show stepping up a level. But Wilder lost 5 of the first 6 rounds, then one shotted a tiring Ortiz. Wilder literally did worse this time against a guy he already beat who hadn't done much since.KiwiRider wrote: ↑25 Nov 2019, 16:19 Is this the same Ortiz who's best win came against Jennings almost 4 years ago, when he was 36(ish) and was eventually dropped off the books at Matchroom for poor performance, and was deemed unsuitable for AJ because of it?

Wilder #2
Ortiz #11
I don't think Ortiz has it in him to beat any of the top 10 now. If he continues he will just be a name fed to other fighters to be on their resume.
Ortiz would no doubt give them all a competitive fight, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him on Kownacki's PBC hitlist in 2020
