Next realistically fight for GGG? Kamil Szeremeta?

Post by apollo creed »

Personally I think Golovkin should retire as a champion. But I think G is gonna take his IBF mandatory challenger in Kamil Szeremeta and then push for a third fight with Canelo. Of course G has to beat Kamil Szeremeta.

He won't retire before completing his DAZN contract.

I think Golovkin also wants to promote some fights through GGGpromotion on DAZN. So he's tied up.

Retiring as champ or going out on a win is purely a fan thing, I doubt the fighters ever really seriously have that as a priority, it's what bring the money.

I think Golovkin has four more fights left.

Szeremeta?
Canelo III
Andrade?
BJS?

It's obvious. But I'd not like to see GGG get beaten to stoppage by Canelo.

I think GGG will get his Mandatory out of the way (Well he has to, Mandatory means no choice) After Szeremeta I think he will go back to the GGG of fighting every 6 weeks, I could see him fighting in 2020 and 2021 Szeremeta, Derevyanchenko (Due to his cut he will not be able to fight until late 2020, but GGG has said he will give him a rematch so count on it) Korobov (He said he wants to fight GGG and GGG is not one to back down from a challenge) Lara (Said he would go up to 160 fight GGG) Jermall Charlo (he said he wants to fight GGG or Canelo the Most) Andrade (same as Charlo he wants a fight with GGG or Canelo) Chris Eubank Jr is coming to 160 and he probably would be willing to fight GGG.

I have no idea what order other than Szeremeta has to be next, I think GGG just wants to fight the best fighters he can get, so he wants Canelo, but EVERYONE wants Canelo, So I think GGG will just fight frequently against the best fighters who are willing to fight him, So if he fights every 6 Weeks and beats Szeremeta, Derevyanchenko, Korobov, Lara, Charlo, Andrade and Eubank JR all in impressive fashion, the fans will demand he get another fight with Canelo, GGG will be a red hot fighter coming off wins over the best in his Division. GGG does not really care about Money (Eddie Hearn is the one who cares about money), GGG JUST WANTS TO FIGHT
