If to put them by who-beats-who logic, I'll place them this way:

1. Fury
2. Usyk
3. Wilder
4. Ruiz
5. Joshua

Nice to see Wilder at the top.

Will he get a BoxRec shirt now?

Even though he's the only one with a win in the group I think Ruiz clearly loses to all of them.

How is Usyk a top 5 HW?

I like Usyk a lot & I am looking forward to seeing how he fares in the division, but to have him in the top 5 right now is alphabet boy sanctioning group bonkers.

I expected better of Boxrec.

Fury lost the fight period. It is wasn't for fury, fight would have been stopped for other fighters. That what Holyfield and many other greats said of stoppage. Lennox lewis says wilder is best HW.

Two time flat on your back has priority over winning rounds. Remember wilder never was down on floor.

Literally the opposite is true. Scorecards don't have a "times flat on your back" column.

Are you a professional judge? how would you know there is no "times flat on your back" column. Stop talking about stuff you don't know casual.

Wonder why this page, as much as I love it and respect it, has Fury so fr behind Wilder...after all, a tie is a tie...

Two knockdowns are very significant but if thats all your output for twelve rounds is it enough to win? Fury controlled the fight, he outplayed Wilder and brought the action AND he wasnt done. After getting up he engaged again. Its obvious that even Wilder knows he lost the fight at the end he is not cheering or anything while he is looking down and than at a cheering Fury. I like Wilder but I dont like him basically doing nothing for rounds waiting for a 1-2 that kos. This style is even more boring than Wlads. Should we reawrd this style when he fails to knockout someone with a win? Is that good for us boxing fans?

Of course they do. It’s 99% the round is yours if you get ur opponent flat on ur back..

If I outbox you for five rounds and you knock me down in the sixth, your 10-8 round is overshadowed because basic mathematics exists, and numbers are added together according to its principles.

They only mean something and are added at the end of the fight. But the fact that I was able to KD you, makes a difference. It’s scores round by round isn’t it?

I promise you, most you are arguing with online think a knock down equals two rounds. Therefore two knock-downs equals 4 rounds. There are only 12 rounds therefore Wilder only needs 2 more for a draw.
And what's 2 rounds? He's the champ right! So he won 2 more rounds easy. Because feelings.

Then you point out he actually needed 3 more to get the draw.
Then it's, well he's the champ. You have to beat the champ to win the belt, and getting knocked down twice ain't beating the champ
Duhr duhr duhr
And round and round it goes.

You could sit down with them going through the fight frame by frame, and they would still hold strong. Because their opinions are equal to your facts.

I would like to say I'm strawmanning them, but it happens painfully often.

Not to derail the thread:
1. Fury
2. Ruiz
3. Wilder
4. Joshua
5. Usyk

Joshua lost to Ruiz
Wilder lost to Fury
Usyk is untested for now

Wilder gets hell of a lot credit for having one name on hes resume that is worth anything.

But I guess that's boxing now days. Top guys don't fight each other. Beating nobodys makes you a champ in the current scene.

Ruiz has the best win. Ruiz should be the number one.

Joshua has the best set of wins. He only lost to Ruiz. He should be number two.

Fury should have won that Wilder fight. Fury should be number three.

Wilder with hes one win is the weakest of the big four.

Usyk is still untested in HW. I expect him to raise near the top or maybe all the way to the top but right now hes not there yet.

Wilder vs Fury should be for the number 1 spot. The winner of that fight will likely take out the rest of the list.
