There was a moment when he knocked Terence Crawford close to on his ass or could stop him abruptly, the opening was there :maybe:

He is very entertaining to watch, especially for a cuban boxer. Sadly, his prime was years ago. Personally, i am hoping for a miracle against Davis, but it will not happen.

He's a good fighter. Still good. Just no longer elite. I don't see how he'll be able to give much trouble to Gervonta, but as experienced as he is I'll hesitate to say impossible.

A good fighter to this day, always fit and entertaining, but that notorious bout against Crawford stole something from him, for worse.

Probably won't happen, but I'll be rooting for him to win against Tank.

He would get his ass kicked by Crawford 10 times out of 10, but that was buds only opponent to offer any challenge. Nice feather in his cap against one of histories most talented fighters. Sadly, that's the biggest feather in buds cap still. That or postol.

Well said. At the very least, Gamboa should give Tank some different looks. A huge upgrade from his last couple opponents.

I remember the fight.

Gamboa was winning the early rds. He easily won 4 out of the first 6 rds. Problem fir him he didnt respect tc power and kept openly trading shots and that was his downfall. With his superior Footwork and speed he wouldve ud tc.

Gamboa clearly won the first 2, arguably the 3rd. But by the end of the 3rd the tide was clearly shifting already. Then TC dominated, with the exception of the time after one of the KDs where Gamboa stunned him a bit coming in.

But TC had Gamboa timed down pretty early and obviously had no problem hurting him. Can't see how Gamboa would've won that fight...

tc did nothing, just waiting. gamboa shouldve done nothing to and have a drawwith him. i hate crawfords style, he does nothing, tentative boring to watch boxer with no fan base.

is 1:1 floyd mayweather what terence crawford does. do nothing, wait till your opponent punches, than counter. afterwards wait and do nothing. do this during a whole fight. no wounder terence has no fan base and floyd had to creat a fake persona in order to get a fan base. theirs styles are the epitome of boring to watch boxing.

Gamboa was his toughest fight but it wasn't really that much of an issue. He often loses the first round or two and then has the opponent timed at starts dominating. The one thing Gamboa did that no one else did is stun him though, that's true

He doesn't fight like that at all. He beats people up. Like whom you will, your trolling gets a genuine laugh here and there.
