Read the thread. It's already been addressed. If you don't like it. Get off the thread.
Your poll includes a fighter in their thirties.
Yup.

If Ajagba is injury free, and his age is really 25 , he will dominate heavyweight division very soon and for mamy years. He has an IRON SHIELD defence, which is hard to penetrat.

Ajagba is very upright like Charles Martin. His defence will definitely be tested by a decent heavie

I precluded Wardley because he's more than a year or two away from showing us what he's made of.

I guess I don't see what others do in Aggiejabbie :maybe:
To me he is slow, upright and one dimensional.
Admittedly him Vs Joe Joyce would be a cracker, anyone else?

I fancied him a few fights ago, but haven't seen any improvement in his movement and/or speed. We'll see.

Vitali klitchko was upright too ... Ajagba has very solid physique, good defence and knows how to minimize wasting energy by not making extra movements. That's what exactly wilder does too, people think he has no legs.

Tall HW 6'7" like ajagba don't need to bend or bob & vew like a 6'3" or 6'4" HW .

He fought his first live opponent in his last fight. It was a good close fight.
I see both as future contenders.

Close fight Ajagba and Dimirizin ? what fight you watched?

Despite claimed right arm injury, Ajagba was pounding Dimirizin with jabs all rounds with Dimirizin have tight gloves up all night, ajagba won all rounds except 1 round

Ofcourse he lands punches on Ajagba, but all bodyshots, nothing lands on the face

Hrgovic could easily be fighting guys in his promotion like hunter... that would be a huge step up. For some reason that hasnt happened. Id like to see him fight parker

Efe could be fighting gerald Washington or brezeale next year. That seems likely

Daniel dub will probably be another year away from fighting the former title challengers i would think. And yes i know kevin johnson challenged for a title but i mean ones who are slightly past their primes ala jennings

I agree with most of what you post. The only matter I differ on is that I think Dubs could be up to challenge for a title the back half of the year, especially if the titles splinter further.

Unified world champs who move up in weight are generally not considered prospects.

Philip Hargovic is 27, still has not fought anyone in top 30, i don't take him seriously.

While Ajagba is 25 , but has fought better oppositions, and he will be the person to mull Daniel Dubious, if allegedly allows the fight to happen.

I thought it would be interesting to revisit a two year old prediction thread to gauge how accurate these prophecies were…

Efe Ajagba, Filip Hrgovic, Arslanbek Makhmudov, Vladyslav Sirenko, Bakhodir Jalolov, Ivan Dychko and Daniel Dubois haven’t achieved anything notable since November 2019.

At least Joe Joyce and Tony Yoka have managed to score some decent victories within the last two years.

I think some people were offended (back then) about me complaining about the poll excluding Joe Joyce, who had only engaged in ten bouts at that point in time!

We see a lot of prediction threads created, but they’re rarely followed-up to see how right or wrong we were. :TU:

This is a depressing read.

DDD- At least he had a crack, fought a hard fight against one of the toughest boxing opponents in the world. Lost, but fair play. But still got his face busted up and quit.

Efe- Beat rice i guess, for the list thats not bad... although he then looked bad and took his first loss in a stinker.

Hrgovic- most depressing of the bunch? seems to be regressing in both skill and opponents.

Makhmudov- 4 mins of action in 2020+2021... not a single second of being in with a pulse though...

Vladyslav Sirenko- wins the handicap race. not a good couple of years, but decent for him.

Bakhodir Jalolov- Winner here. But not in pro boxing, got a gold medal though and that shits on any other achivment by any of these guy in the last 2 years.

Ivan Dychko- Boxed 60 seconds since this thread was created.... SIXTY SECOND...

Tony Yoka- Served a years drugs suspension so has that as a permanent cloud around him. But fought the best opponents for sure..

Thats the story of our late 2019s best hopes for the future....
