Whyte has fought solid competition but I don't think it's as special as it's made out to be under closer scrutiny.

Solid fights against just below top tier HW's. Tha'ts why he's not an exciting matchup for the top 4 guys.

I would be totally excited by Ruiz-Whyte. Has Andy really put himself that far above already?

Nah, just there are other more compelling matchups, expecially if he wins the rematch. Opens up Fury or Wilder. Whyte takes a back seat to those fights. Let Whyte fight Ortiz.

I had been a bit of a Whyte supporter pre-dbol but now, have no interest and want him to just go away. The whole thing stinks and is another little moment chipping away at my love for the sport. Fan / Participant for 33 years and although a big fight can still fire me up, the backstage bollox, the politics and shenanigans have pushed me away.

I will not pay him much attention moving forward, but will hope he loses everytime out.

Tbh, I would much rather watch Whyte-Ruiz than Fury-Ruiz, obviously the latter would be 'more significant'

LOL! I thought that after my post. I used 'compelling' and not 'exciting.'

Don't get me wrong Whyte's competition at heavyweight has been better than most of the top boys, it's just that when you look at wins over Lucas Browne and even Chisora for instance under closer scrutiny they're not that great.

Browne was knocked out by Dave Allen ffs and it wasn't that long ago that Chisora lost a European title fight and was soundly outboxed by Pulev.

The Parker win is probably his best with Parkers win over Ruiz. I don't think Parker is that great personally but that's just a personal opinion.

Rivas and Chisora are solid opposition.
Yup. Silly commentary really. I'm no fan of Whyte's but he's faced top competition.

Why not? I think Whyte is an excellent fighter that's going about things the right away. Looking forward to seeing him get a title shot.

It's iffy for sure, but all the top guys, particularly the higher weights, at juicing. For me its don't hatr the player hate the game at this point.

Until they get caught, for the sake of my fandom, I have to believe they don't. Naive? Of course.

Whyte weighs a career-heavy 271 pounds..

Was 259 for Rivas, previous heavy was Malcolm Tann at 260..

Wach was 270.

Whyte looked fat. They took away his "healthy nutrition" from him, so he probably tried the Ruiz diet in order to achieve success that way.

Whyte is ill disciplined when it comes to his weight - He ballooned up at the beginning of the year too.

Wach has not beat anyone of note. Whyte will batter him. Haven't seen him at Loughborough for a while though. You know he's serious when he's training up there.

A decent bout. There were some good exchanges. But that was because Whyte wasn't well prepared. He should have TKOed Wach in 6-7 rounds. Wach's freakish chin saved him early. In the later rounds Whyte took too much unnecessary shots. If Wach had more power, Whyte could have been stopped.

Did Whyte dip too much into his Masterfchef foray, didn't he? Should stop barking and begin to get back in shape, immediately.

So many fighters especially heavyweights don't want to live the life , he said he was in the gym 2 weeks after the drugs thing came out , doing what I don't know ? Shame really cos he obviously has some talent .
