Oyf that's a bit of a shocker that, I fancied Casimero here but didn't think it would be that clinical, he did nothing for the first 2 rounds but soon as he landed that right hand it was effectively over, temple shots are worst to shake off, probably should've been stopped after first knockdown, his legs were still gone,, Tete collapsed for second KD which showed he still hadn't recovered, Casimero was teeing off on him at the finish, bad loss for Tete, he was hurt bad there

Fair play to tete to give that interview. A good human

I missed the Bowen Cacace fight! I was expecting that to be the main event! Shocker with Tete but he started the fight as if he was gonna stink the place out so i'm half glad he got caught tbh... Terry O as a judge in the last two fights and god knows how many more tonight? Something needs done about this!

Re: Round-by-Round: Midlands Mayhem | Tete | Bowen | Richards - 30 November 2019
thanks for the write up , gutted thought that fight was on at 10, sounds like bowen maybe didnt give the respect to cacace then, as that boy has some long arms that can land, ,you cant walk every fighter down,i hope he comes backhandsofstone wrote: ↑30 Nov 2019, 15:57 Good scrap, I thought Cacace deserved it, 114-113 for me, landed the bigger shots and he had the accuracy and was fighting well on the backfoot, I preferred him fighting orthodox, he caught Bowen with some big right hands over the top, Bowen took them well though and just kept marching forward and trying to unsettle Cacace, I thought he grew into the fight as Cacace dropped the pace
I thought the deduction to Bowen for use of the head was harsh, it wasn't that forceful to get a point off IMO, some great inside fighting from both men , both looked comfortable on the inside despite both being tall and probably better off trying to get on the jab, neither looked to hold and were happy to fight it out, glad to see Cacace get the title he was robbed off against Ward

Why are Frank's running orders always a shambles? Having Lerrone Richards topping the bill is always gonna empty seats

I was impressed by Hamzah Sheerez , I thought he might fall apart when dealing with a boxer that fired back, Ryan Kelly did make him think in there and Sheeraz took a few but adjusted , didn't run out of steam and finished Kelly well.

Yeah I agree, weathered some decent front foot work from Kelly and finished the fight well when the chance arose - he's a giant at 154 too! Only very young but I wonder how long he can remain at light middle.Old bones Ian wrote: ↑01 Dec 2019, 01:07 I was impressed by Hamzah Sheerez , I thought he might fall apart when dealing with a boxer that fired back, Ryan Kelly did make him think in there and Sheeraz took a few but adjusted , didn't run out of steam and finished Kelly well.

Worked well inside for such a tall boxer, if his chin holds up he could go far.NoScoutingReports wrote: ↑01 Dec 2019, 09:18Yeah I agree, weathered some decent front foot work from Kelly and finished the fight well when the chance arose - he's a giant at 154 too!
