A third fight between Canelo and Golovkin definitely isn't "out of the question", because he has consistently claimed that he’d face Golovkin again if the public want it and the money is right, despite him conceding his disinterest in sharing the ring again with the Kazakh.

Put it this way, if DAZN are going to pay Canelo $35m per bout, regardless whomever he fights, then there’s no motivation to face GGG again.
Canelo says "I don't want to fight him [GGG]. For me he doesn't represent [a challenge] anymore,"[/i] said Canelo. " I have other goals too, I already gave him 24 rounds and that's it." but yeah if DAZN makes Canelo a bigger offer than he could face G for a third time.

I realise he said that, as this is reflected in my previous post, but he also said that he'd face GGG again if the money was right.

I can provide a video of him saying both things if you want to be a tiresome disbeliever.

I didn't see Smith vs Ryder. I did see Canelo vs GGG 2. I'll readily admit that Canelo did significantly better in the 2nd fight than he did in the 1st, but he still didn't win it IMO.

I would've had no issue with the draw in this bout, but I knew they'd give it to him because they gave him a draw he CLEARLY lost the 1st time around so a narrow loss or an actual draw he'd get.

I call 'em as I see 'em. No bias in my scoring.
He beat him up and GGG had no answer. He didn't like it rough, and forgot about Mexican style

He just wanted to survive, barely threw a punch that wasn't a jab. Jab is the hardest punch to counter, he was so scared of getting countered he didn't throw anything else
You are a complete idiot. After the first fight when GGG gave Canelo a beating, Canelo's camp was saying that Golovkin is one-dimensional plodder. So, in the second fight Golovkin proved them wrong outboxing the drug cheat.

Benavidez fight should probably marinade a bit to become a huge event. If Benavidez manages to lure Smith, Saunders or Plant into the ring and gets a second belt, then it would become a bigger fight.

I think that after seeing the Ryder bout, Canelo will go after Smith and I strongly doubt that BJSor Plant will want Benavidez.

facts.

can't be put into perspective often enough as the frikkin record says otherwise.

canelo got gifted the rematch through a draw which could've been at best the objective decision in the second but objectively lost the first fight.

everyone saying otherwise is indeed a bit bad at watching boxing at least which isn't that much of an insult.

Woah the GGG worshipping is just off the fricken charts.

Absolutely fornicating pathetic pudenda and exactly what I was talking about.

He was twice the size and got has ass walked down and beat like a drum

He will absolutely get ktfo in part 3 as well.

Part 2 was absolutely the exact same fight as Smith vs Ryder

Canelo wasn't able to beat a much older fighter than him. GGG needs to age to 40 y/o for Canelo III.

Have watched both of their fights, have yet to see one where GGG got his ass kicked.

Golovkin is clearly past his prime. His wear and tear keeps accumulating. Also, he likely has more serious injuries which he tries to hide. There is definitely a chance of passing a tipping point in the next year or two and getting stopped by somebody. Canelo knows that and tries to postpone their 3rd fight for as long as he can to make sure he REALLY wins this time.

Canelo can bring ANYBODY to fight on DAZN. He is a huge cash cow, so they will find a way.

Valid points made here. :TU: The problem is if G is getting beat by a lesser opponent meanwhile. G should take it easy.

Callum is young but he looked poor and he got beat by Ryder. Canelo vs BJS/Benavidez would be some intriguing matches.

Bivol has won his last 4 fights by Decision, So he likely would not knockout Canelo either (Especially if Bivol goes down to 168 as he said he would) Cash Cows rarely lose decisions, Canelo will be getting his hand raised if he fights Bivol.

That's why it would be a good opponent for Canelo especially if it happens at 175 lbs . Bivol is a winnable fight for Canelo and it would look nice on his resume.
