He didn't avoid Stevenson, he won't avoid berchelt either. You're right he won't beat him, but Valdez will fight any of those guys.

Bob doesn’t mess around with purses. Gate was probably less than $1m easy.. total purse payout for the show was easy $600k. The ESPN deal is probably what he uses to pay his boxers purses.

I think Valdez would do well to stay away from Berchelt. That fight will not go well for him. Alvarado would be a much more winnable title fight for him.
