Filip Hrgovic vs. Eric Molina - December 7, 2019

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

It has been known for several weeks that heavyweight Filip Hrgovic (9-0, 7 KO), one of the most interesting prospects in his division, will have his next fight on December 7 in Saudi Arabia, as part of the undercard to the highly anticipated Andy Ruiz-Anthony Joshua rematch.

In an interview with Croatian media, "El Animal" revealed that he would face the experienced Erik Molina (27-5, 19 KO). "Drummer Boy" has already completed a penalty of suspension for doping and in February of this year he defeated Nick Guivas.

For Hrgovic this will be the third fight this year. Earlier in the year he defeated both Gregory Corbin and Mario Heredia.

Molina is old and past it, however, he even has never been any real threat to the best. Hrgovic will KO him pretty fast.

UKAD are saying Molina isn't even allowed to spar until November 27th, will this ban get ignored or will he only have a few days legitimate training?

He started with his training camp. He can start spar 2 months before ban ends. He will be in full shape. I talk with him so...

I don't even know how it works but UKAD extended his ban for him sparring with Parker, whether or how that gets enforced i don't know :maybe:

Thanks for clearing that up. Do you have any further insight into the scope of the ban and how it is or isn't being enforced?

Eric molina was knocked out in 1st round by chris arreolla in 2012 and his best performance going 9th round with wilder in 2015. He is past his prime and very inactive since

It's a decent match up considering Hrgovic only has 7 fights I believe.
I don't have a problem with it
