Luis Pabon, the referee for Ruiz/Joshua 2

Post by Tuan_Jim »

Well, lads, the fix is in. Luis Pabon was the referee of that infamous Klitschko/Povetkin fight, where Wladimir initiated 300+ holds without warning and was allowed to spoil his way to a dirty win.

Pabon's booking makes the agenda seem suspiciously like Team Joshua's strategy is to cheat and hold all night. Anyone for a Joshua-clinch drinking game? Have the sick bucket ready after round one.

Ruiz is fighting Joshua and the referee on Saturday!

Meh, if Andy is superior or really does have his number as assured then it won't matter. Pabby hasn't let Josh do anything yet either...

Makes no difference. No conspiracy here.

Rewatch Wladimir/Povetkin--if you dare--and tell me Pabon is on the level.

Joshua isn’t good enough to hit and hold imo. It’s not that easy to do despite what some might think. If you’re not good at it you’re putting yourself in massive danger aren’t you?

Joshua will knock him out anyway

If Ruiz is clever he’ll just go in and out. He was actually doing ok on the first bout when clinching.

Hearn saying both camps are happy with all the officials.
