Coming in heavier might not be so good. Or if he moves like "no prob" at that weight, well... Even heavier... Heavyweights of this era are lunatics.

How much did Andy Ruiz Jr’s hat weigh? Did he have something heavy hidden underneath it? Mind-games maybe?

Just fatter than before, you can look at his body too and do a big LOL at those flattering pictures of his supposed trimming down

Ruiz is not going to see the 5th round. If he does, I’ll eat my words - Ruiz has eaten everything else.

He might see the 5th, but he'll never see his toes.

No chance. He's not gonna fight any lesser..
However he fights, he is now even fatter than before, it's not clothes or muscle and he doesn't look better.

All that talk of losing weight, those flattering photos and the 'he's no Buster', and then he turns up like this!

He must think he just has AJ's number whatever the weight. Who knows he may be right
He was 255 against Parker, many had him winning that close,

He was what 265 against Joshua in June and he won that clear as KO.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing.

Also, we don't know what he had in his pockets. Maybe this is just a psychological warfare and he weighs not that much.

I was expecting 300
Saad - do you think this makes Joshua by decision more or less likely?

On the one hand Ruiz won’t be able to close the distance as quickly and reduces his offensive threat to make the rounds more boring and make it more of a distance affair, on the other I feel like it’s got to affect Ruiz’s cardio , and also gives Aj more flabby body to aim at which is a stoppage outlet.
I'm betting decision with hesitancy. I'm one of the few that still thinks the first go round, while obviously legitimate, was fluskish. I expect Josh to fight behind his jab and not go beserk when he hurts him. Then again, Andy might just lay down and collect a check when trouble hits. Tend to doubt it after last time, but that's the only time I've ever seen him fight with desire.

Why give AJ more confidence though? That would be stupid, you want the guy to have doubts, not to feel better

Ruiz seems like a nice guy, but only if he put the effort into training and nutrition that he gives to his tattoos and bling, he'd really be something.

Yeah I’m worried about him lying down too, I have AJ decision but I hedged the championship rounds for AJ. Will Joshua even let his right hand go? He’s been talking to Wlad for advice ...

Well he's either been lazy or is complacent.

I think he's too heavy.

Let's take a trip back in time:
Buster Douglas beats Tyson and then eats everything on the planet,
what happens next................ ?
Ruiz beats Joshua and eats everything else on the planet, what happens
next................... ?

Now that I've had a few hours to think this over, what really irks me here is that when we have one fighter seemingly out of shape, then if AJ wins, it's not definitive in the eyes of his detracters. Well, now I hope AJ knocks his head off. I think it's shameful for Ruiz to be so inflated. It does nothing to help his performance. To me it's a lack of dedication and/or overconfidence. Either way, not acting like a champion. Still think he can repeat, but I just don't want him to at this point.

Lets see how Ruiz looks in the ring tomorrow. Either he is playin everybody or is outofshape. Not going with that he is bigger then last time out but... gonna be great fight either way. I hope.

Still 283 pounds? Whatahell?

The whole mind game stuff and fake weight just makes no sense to me, all the talk about AJ lacking confidence, so it's some big mental play to give him a bit more of that? AJ is either totally lacking in confidence or has way too much of it?

He's just fatter this time. Do people forget that he's a slob ?
