Me neither, but this may be the only way Joshua wins this.

It's a smart, disciplined fight by AJ, and he should be well up on points. It's borderline stinkin' out the joint at times, but it's what he needs to do.

He is beating the guy who everybody talked about had been boxing since he was 5 on points. That is a statement, sort of.

Going for the W is the goal. 7-3 Aj

8-3 AJ. I think he hurt his right hand early in this fight. Gotta tip my hat to him.

The feed I'm watching has been in and out, but it's clear to me that AJ is in clear control as long as he stays on his feet. He got wobbled bad in the 8th, but other than that has done well for the most part. Ruiz has taken some really big shots real well. Tough guy. Just needs better discipline outside the ring.

As did I :TU:

It always seemed to me that if he were to win this was what he was gonna have to do, and I think we saw it was. When he traded with Ruiz, he got hurt. So this is really the only way he can beat this dude. F*ck it, he'll take it

And yeah, same thing and AJ is winning this. 8-3 got him.

Wondering if Ruiz will go for the K.O. now?

All in all, this is probably what one single fight between these two should have looked like. Joshua's a lot more complete fighter.

116-112 AJ.

I didn’t like his fighting style and the crowd disappointed me.

AJ did the precisely what he needed to do to win, despite being negative.

He’ll inevitably be praised for doing precisely what Wladimir was criticised for.

9-3 AJ and not even that close. Are we in for a third fight? I have both of them on a tier under Fury and Wilder.

So you'd rather him get KTFO again trying to fight with excitement throwing his career down the drain?

No need for the 3rd fight after such a dominant revenge.

Just think about how much more this fight would've sucked if Ruiz didn't try to take Joshua's head off everytime he tried to snuggle..
