AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
so wilder proved himself at top level, AJ
did as well. they are both now battled
and seasoned champions.
time to bring it on. don't turn another
floyd-manny on the boxing world.

Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Wilder had his chance to take the fight this year. Next year Joshua will have to take on his mandatories, first probably Pulev and than Usyk.

would be a great fight
but if Fury wins i'd prefer AJ to have a shot at the world title first

Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Completely agree. It’s the fight that needs to be made. Who is the better out of the two?
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
No. Fury-Wilder and Joshua-Usyk first. Then the winners for the undisputed championship.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Fury matters.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
You may want to rethink this thread just in case judges in Wilder-Fury fight are even remotely fair.

He will stop Fury in February.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
I don't think so, and even if he is, a fight between Fury and either of them isn't as exciting as Wilder vs AJ
I'd rather watch Wilder vs AJ at least 5 times than Fury vs either of them.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
No reason to believe they're still fighting in February.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Why would a February date not work? There is no reason why it won't work.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Judges wont be necessary this time, like with Stiverne Wilder will make adjustments, Fury is a LOT better than Stiverne, Nevertheless Wilder will catch him earlier than the 12th round this time and Wilder will finish him.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
That's possible.
It's also possible to imagine a focused, dedicated version of Fury which uses superior footwork to keep Wilder at distance and reach a straightforward UD. I can't really see any correlation with Stiverne; Fury isn't only miles better, he is also much more adaptable himself. That's what makes this an interesting fight.
Point is, until we actually get the winner of this fight, there is little to no use hyping up Wilder-AJ. I' much prefer AJ fighting the winner.

hhaha what a stupid comparison. The only adjustment made that fight was by Stiverne, who adjusted himself in to a human punch bag
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Can you imagine how big a fight between AJ and Fury would be in UK ? Not sure it’s as big as Bruno v Lewis but it’s close

Two weeks ago Bob Arum told ESPN (Dan Rafael) that the Wilder-Fury rematch is set for February 22nd 2020, with the bout staged at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. This was also verified by Fṙḁṅḱ Ẁḁṙṙḛṅ and Wilder himself commented on the February fight-date during the Ortiz post-fight press conference.

Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
From a spectacle point of view Wilder vs Joshua is THE biggest attraction for the sport. Two huge punchers, blink and you'll miss it. Definitely the one to get the casuals excited.
This was probably the only fight that really would have mattered 18 months back when Fury was in his hiatus, but they fact he rose from the dead and really beat Wilder means he is of course a key player. But his style isn't so pleasing as the two bangers.
Usyk in the mix adds some excitement, but beyond those 4 the division is weak and really these 4 should only be interested in fighting each other at this point.

For me, with the possible exception of Tyson Fury against either one, nothing else matters, although I do admit to being intrigued by Oleksandr Usyk being added to the HW mix.

I think Fury will be the last man standing at the end.... IF the necessary fights are made....
