Should Katie Taylor rematch Persoon?

Post by lazboy »

In my opinion Persoon beat her and almost stopped her. It was a great womens boxing fight - one of the best with ebbs and flows, lot of heart and action however the result really soured the event. Devastating for Persoon who was punished unjustly.

If there’s a fight worthy of a rematch it’s this one yet it seems to be stagnant noting this fight occurred on the AJ Ruiz 1 card. I can’t support Taylor until she challenges this opponent again. Make it happen.

Persoon won clearly but if there’s ever a fight with no incentive to rematch it’s that one.

The current weight discrepancy between both fighters is roughly 12lbs.

Delfine Persoon will probably get her rematch during the Summer 2020, but she'll have to compete in a heavier weight class, which gives Katie Taylor an unfair size advantage over her smaller foe.

Taylor’s choice is disappointing. An immediate rematch should have occurred. Speaking of 12 pounds - that would be equivalent to one Andy Ruiz bowel movement.

The average combined total weight of newborn twins at birth is 11lbs.

Delfine Persoon‘s weight during her most recent outing was 127lbs.

12lbs is an awful lot of weight for a small female to gain.

:o ............umm...........since you told us the size of an Andy Ruiz bowel movement you should also tell us how you acquired that information.

There’s a time and place for those types of conversations.

would love to see the rematch. i've always loved katie. her and her father are very nice people. that fight though.. wow. persoon is tough!!!! i've never seen anyone throw katie off her game plan like that. it's definitely debatable who got the better of that fight, so of course a rematch would put it to rest ;) fingers crossed.
