Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Well Joshua is a better infighter and there is his chance to win the fight with that excellent uppercut but he has to charge wilder thats his biggest chance because Joshua will eventually get hit.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
i always had AJ way above wilder,
but not so sure anymore. deontay
proved himself to be tough and he
managed difficult situations.
AJ lost weight for ruiz and became
a smart, economic fighting machine.
to me it is a tossing game at this point.

Outcome of AJ vs Wilder is very predictable.

Ya, and Luis Ortiz is very mobile, and not a total plodder who couldn't catch up to Malik Scott. Your amazing insight is appreciated
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Not a bad shout but I believe Usyk will be the main man in the end. AJ and Wilder are knockouts waiting to happen.drunkenpiper36 wrote: ↑09 Dec 2019, 23:45 I think Fury will be the last man standing at the end.... IF the necessary fights are made....

He is mobile enough to land on Wilder, so he will definitely be able to land on Joshua. Your amazing insight on Eubank being better than Korobov is equally appreciated.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Dec 2019, 15:14Ya, and Luis Ortiz is very mobile, and not a total plodder who couldn't catch up to Malik Scott. Dude is a straight up plodder with those feet, even Chisora managed to catch up to moving Scott but Luis couldn't. He has good hands and that's why he won rounds vs Wilder, but to say he's mobile is just stupid, he's the biggest plodder among the top guys.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑10 Dec 2019, 16:18He is mobile enough to land on Wilder, so he will definitely be able to land on Joshua. Korobov is a straight up fader, dude boxes well a couple rounds then can't keep it up, I didn't really expect anything other than him winning the first round or two, but in true Koro fashion he couldn't last

If Fury beats Wilder in the rematch, I will be surprised. Wilder wasn't even 100% in the first fight, but no excuses. I think the near KO spooked Fury, and that won't go away. If he had the confidence to win, he wouldn't have fought the two tomato cans this past year, and fought the rematch right away. Otto Wallin pushed Fury, and that fight certainly didn't do anything for his confidence level. The bad cut on his eye could affect the rest of his career. Fury's old man said he was lucky to even get the win vs Wallin.drunkenpiper36 wrote: ↑09 Dec 2019, 23:45 I think Fury will be the last man standing at the end.... IF the necessary fights are made....

Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
It could arguably be said that Fury wasn’t 100% either. He had fought only twice over the previous three years and against basically two mediocrities. It took him time to get back into shape and yet he won practically every round except the two where he was decked. I give Wilder credit for scoring those knock downs but I also can’t help but wonder if part of being decked came from Fury’s clowning and complaceny. I don’t see Tyson being complacent the next time around or clowning. Especially now that he’s tasted Deontay’s power. In addition, while both men are a year older, I believe this is less advantageous for wilder than it is fury given that he is now 34 years of age and the smaller of the two men...Bandog wrote: ↑26 Dec 2019, 08:36If Fury beats Wilder in the rematch, I will be surprised. Of course I could be completely wrong about all of the above and Wilder May win the whole thing. But until otherwise proven, I have to favor Tyson Fury...

Maggy, being a woman, you should be more compassionate, and not laugh at folks.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
What is Wilder's 100%, if not landing a couple big bombs on a guy who's really hard to hit clean?
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Joshua &Wilder have both branched off into rivalries go their own that need sorting. To answer this thread title.
Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
Was I the only one who clicked on this thread hoping to see a video of AJ and Wilder at a karaoke bar covering Metalica?

Re: AJ - Wilder, nothing else matters
I think ultimately it'll be Fury-Joshua sometime in December 2020. If Fury beats Wilder in February, then he'll rematch Wilder in the summer. During this time Joshua will be facing Pulev and Usyk. If Fury beats Wilder in the summer of 2020, it'll be Fury-Joshua sometime in December unless an organization demands Fury and Joshua to defend against someone else first like Dillian Whyte. If that be the case it'll be 2021 before we see Fury-Joshua, and by that time Wilder will be the #1 mandatory for the winner.
