I feel sorry for Lucas Browne even imagining that fight, let alone watching it happen.

Much as I like him as a prospect, I'm not impressed by his progress in his last two fights. So Vargas, to me, is a good step for the lad.

I'd want him in with someone a bit more durable, someone who can make him go rounds and still be there for a bit when he's firing. Vargas did take Fa the course but has been stopped pretty early in his other losses I think. Vargas is a good for lower level prospects though.

What do we think of Wach as a test these days? He had look pretty much done vs Bakole but then gave Whyte some problems and of course has that chin.

I notice Duhaupas finally had another fight as well

IDK. Whyte was severely out of shape. Wach is a tough out, but not easy to beat. I noticed DuHaupas fighting in what was it, October?

EDIT: Wach is a tough out, but IS EASY to beat. Sheesh!

wach is a good guy to put a prospect struggling for rounds in that is trying to gain experence for the ultra big boys. super durable so you either get rounds, or get to boast about blasting him out of there quicker than a hard hitting list.

I was joking  think he needs someone durable who can box a bit aswell. Where's Dawejko? Maybe someone like Washington? Helenius?

Duhaupas could come back to be a bit of a test for the new guys. He's durable and can box against non-top-level opposition. Probably more of a test than an old Wach these days in my opinion.

Were you joking about all of those? Because I don't actually mind Dub vs McKean. It may not be a step up but would be good between steps up. I have seen a few of Dem's fights and he actually moves pretty well for a SHW. He would of course be flattened though

you may have been joking about Efe/Vargas, but I don't think Ajagba is ready to go any higher at the moment. Dawejko could make a bad night for him. He's still too robotic. A bit slow of the hands and feet.

He's already gone higher. Kiladze is better than Vargas too. Are you sure you've got the right Vargas? He's older, small, not durable, and would get ironed out easily and quickly.

Vargas would be the once every 30-60 days learning fights. Better matchups out there, but Efe still has to learn and work on stuff in the ring.

I don't see what he learns from that. He would just knock him over quickly. Vargas is a guy who got knocked out early by Jason Bergman, stopped in like a minute by Ruiz, battered in 2-3 by Breazeale. Even Kev Johnson knocked him out. He's too low a level and not durable

Again, a fight to execute things he works on in the gym. Not to go and beat him down. Doesn't matter much anyway. He has Kiladze next. Not much of a threat either.

Vargas has been knocked out in 5 of his 6 losses, is way smaller, is 38 etc,....Efe would just throw a few punches and he'd probably fall down in 1 or 2.

You're acting as if I said Vargas was a contender. Why do you get so obsessed with my posts? Vargas would be like those monthly Mike Tyson opponents early in his career. A cavalcade of no hopers who allowed Mike to develop. That's all. Thanks for the video. I'm sure I'll watch it over and over again.
