Wow I’ve been busy lately but not what I’d call ridiculously busy. I had no idea Crawford was fighting today.

It’s not a bad card at all. Make time for it in your busy schedule. :TU:

It seems like a very intersting care and I didn't mean to make myself sound self important, just am shocked this snuck up. I wish Crawford was getting more attention - watching him is special imo.

I do like the typo of Mendez weight.

Rodriguez handily outpoints Mendez

Julian Rodriguez dropped Manuel Mendez in Round 1 en route to a unanimous decision victory. Mikey Williams/Top Rank
Junior welterweight "Hammer Hands" Julian Rodriguez took a few clean shots but landed way more in a one-sided decision over Manuel Mendez.

Rodriguez won 80-71, 80-71 and 79-72 and knocked Mendez down with a clean left hook in the first round. Rodriguez nearly stopped Mendez in that round when he was unloading punches on him during a follow-up attack, until Mendez finally grabbed him to stop the onslaught.

Rodriguez's most potent weapon was his left hook that he used to rock Mendez numerous times. But Mendez (16-7-3, 11 KOs), 29, of Ontario, Oregon, while unsteady at times, never went down again after the first round and got a second wind in the last few rounds, during which he landed several shots.

Rodriguez (19-0, 12 KOs), 25, of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, won his third fight of 2019 after missing all of 2018, mainly because of a shoulder injury.

Conlan is okay but to me seems lacking that something extra. He can prob get a cherry picked belt, Nikky is pretty unimpressive as a pro.

Teo is a stud and I think he wins this, very good matchup though :box:

Stud is not a term I would use willingly when referring to another male.

Lol I’m sure I do - makes me cringe honestly. May be used differently in Aus where I’m from. It refers to sexual Prowess from my understanding.

Gawd I wish they'd just get to the fights instead of going through like 3-4 as breaks of talking

They gotta fill a 3 hour block. It seems in boxing broadcasts, there's just as much talking as there is fighting.

But it won't be as bad as what DAZN did with Canelo-Kovalev. I hope.

Conlan vs Nikitin was a really great opening fight. I had it 97-93 Conlan. He got the UD, and his revenge.

Looking forward to Teofimo Lopez vs Richard Commey. More intriguing matchup going in than the Main Event.

The "main event" is pretty much an afterthought compared to Commey vs Lopez.
