It'll be interesting. Max is the favorite, but I haven't seen a guy as tenacious as Alexander in a long time. TBH, had Alex been around during Conor's stint at FW, Conor may have well have tasted defeat there. I'm pretty high on him. He seems a very intelligent guy with solid skills and incredibly athletic.

Max in incredibly tenacious too. I think both guys bring similar strengths to the table. Cardio, pressure, power and durability will all be on display. Its such a tough one to call.

Pretty tremendous card so far. Rogan was hanging off Aldo's nuts but I actually thought the decision was fair. Aldo just didn't land much in the 3rd despite being the aggressor.

Rogans commentary annoyed the fornicate out of me in that fight.

Nunes looks scared on the feet against GDR.

GDR's wrestling defence was awful. Cost her the fight really.

Lol. I didn't mind that fight for Nunes. She just walks through most opponents.

Nunes looked a little out of shape, but she probably could have finished that arm triangle if she stuck to it in round 1. GDR's takedown defense was really poor and I have no idea what her plan was when the fight hit the floor. Hang on for dear life and pray for the ref to stand things up is not a winning strategy at this level.

Who can they even match her with at this point? She's cleaned out the entire division including Cyborg.

Was rooting for Colby. Usman did extremely well. I was impressed with both of them. Colby fighting through that broken jaw was tough. Great fight! Not one takedown attempt. I would have liked to have seen some wrestling exchanges between these two. Good card.

Why are low kicks banned in UFC?

I don't know much about UFC but am I right in thinking that kicking a guy in the leg/thigh is not allowed?

Seems like it's not used that much?

Just to clarify that the only UFC fight I've seen start to finish to Khabib vs McGregor.

Some fighters use them more than others, but leg kicks can be a major weapon. They were clearly a big part of Volkanovski's win last night.

The big surprise was Aldo using almost none of them, even though he used to be famous for them. His standup game has slowly evolved into 99% boxing, which I'm not sure has been a good thing for him.

It's allowed. It was actually a big part of Volkinovski's plan in winning the title last night.
