Exactly.
We all know that but nevertheless a 'title' attached to a bout makes it sound more important than it is so it's going to keep happening.

I might wrong but I think it was invented by Frank ( a lot of his boxers fight for this title)
If you win this title then you automatically get a top 10 ranking with the WBO
I also don’t think you even have to fight a European to win one ! - the key criteria seems to be the willingness to pay a sanctioning fee!

Decent nights action, Ward getting blown away in a round was a shocker

I'm not all that surprised, he has looked vulnerable in the past and his opponent knew he wouldn't be able to hang with him over 12. So he was always going to throw the kitchen sink at him from the first bell.handsofstone wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 14:22 Decent nights action, Ward getting blown away in a round was a shocker
Good night of boxing all in all. Ajisafe vs Burton was the snorefest I was expecting (bar the first round). But other than that, some good action and plenty of drama.

Would be kinda funny if the Latvian gatekeeper guy got a 6 figure SKY contract
