Live MTK: Independence Day Card from Kazakhstan - 16 December 2019

Tune into the above video for live coverage of today’s packed #MTKFightNight event in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The card takes place on Kazakhstan Independence Day, and features some of the best stars from around the country and beyond.

Unbeaten lightweight sensation Viktor Kotochigov faces Javier Jose Clavero for the WBC International lightweight title, Sultan Zaurbek takes on Leshan Li for the WBC Youth super-feahterweight title, plus the likes of Fazliddin Gaibnazarov, Abay Tolesh, Iskander Kharsan, Nurtas Azhbenov and many more are also in action.

Thomas Essomba has some undefeated Kazakh prospect in all sort of trouble in the first. Down twice!

Essomba is some serious test ain't he!

The kid he beat had previously battered an unbeaten yank amateur standout, so he was no scrub

Yeah mate. He turned up in great shape. Stayed low and out of reach. Unloaded when he got close. Really good performance. He's a lot better than his record suggests. The Kazakh lad never recovered from the first round pasting he took.
