Since I dont have $75, I think Im stuck with this again...https://boxrec.com/en/event/797744 TyC Sports..lol

Well, I guess us the poor ones don't get the caviar..(in my case most of the time as Ive been known to order PPV's here and there) but sometimes the cheap chocolate bar tastes great too so who knows, the TyC show might have a couple of great bouts!

Now I know most of you all will be watching Wilder-Ortiz II...(can you pass the caviar...pretty please!!??)

A peach of a fight! Franco Ocampo TKO7 Jonathan Ruiz! Ocampo body shot sent Ruiz down, who got up, sent Ocampo reeling to the corner for a knockdown, who got up and poleaxed Ruiz with a right that sent him down, disconnected from the world for a minute! Round seven of this fight was a bit like round ten of Corrales-Castillo ! you can say!

No pro boxing tonight in this part of the sphere so no pro boxing on tv for me.Instead I got to see an official sparring session between Argentine and Puerto Rican amateur fighters, with belts given by the WBA to fight winners. There were about 15 people on the crowd, including, actually, Don King himself who gave a speech and was given another award. After he was told the show was transmitted both to Puerto Rico and Argentina, he started yelling "Viva Puerto Riiico! Viva Argentiina! Viva, viva!!"

The fights were quite lively, the fighters fought with spunk and worked hard for those belts!

Argentina won 3 on points and Puerto Rico one, thought each bout could have gone either way (even the Argentine TyCSports channel's broadcasters were saying this) except for bout 2 in which the Argentine dominated by dropping the Puerto Rican twice on his ass (one from what should have been an illegal punch to the back of the head but the ref didn 't see it)

So.....yeah.

Joshua fought smarter, used his distance, and never went too crazy. He landed several thudding shots on Ruiz, but wisely just continued to keep his distance, and wouldn't trade with Ruiz because he didn't want to repeat the mistakes of the first fight. He was stunned at one point noticeably in the 8th round, but he made it through, and controlled the majority of the other rounds.

At best Ruiz only won 3 rounds I'd say. Not the most exciting fight in the world, but smart strategy on AJ's part, and pretty much what I expected he was gonna need to do to get the win.
