Death of Maxim Dadashev, Patrick Day and others. Tragedies are part of boxing for decades, but i dont think we can ever get used to that.

But if this topic is sarcastic joke i am picking that franchise belts

Definitely Ruiz vs Joshua I. 2nd for me was Pacquiao beating Thurman.

Ruiz was a bite under-trianed but stopped AJ. So yeah. I do think it was Tony Bellew who said afterwords that the punch to the temple in the 3rd round was the game changer. And he was right.

I wasn't shocked by neither of them. Didn't pick Ruiz to win but based on his handspeed, he had a chance. Pacquiao is an ATG so he always has a chance in a fight with Thurman.

I do agree and saying my point is it was more the shock of how Ruiz ran AJ over. Did pick Thurman. Got that one wrong. Ha!

Miller was a surprise initially.
Honestly, I am guilty of judging his physique, and thinking: no way is he juicing.
The surprise led to shock as, bang bang bang- 3 failed tests, 3 different juices.
It's the worst case I've read from an active fighter. And in such a high profile fight.
Our sport took a global press drudging because of Miller, in the same year there were unfortunate deaths that also made minor media.
Not good. :shame:

I will go with the brilliant buddy mcgirt gameplan of range finder jabs and movement for his bigger fighter against a guy who the judges love to give rounds.

Dont try to hurt him. Try to eek out rounds against the money fighter known for dubious cards

Almost as good as telling a one eyed Brewster to outbox wlad klitschko

Really? Totally agree on Ruiz/Josh but I confidently bet on PAC. Ramirez losing his pro debut has to be up there.

I guess that is why I don't bet. Not smart enough to see what you saw I guess. I thought Thurman was all wrong for Pac, and Pac was too old to get it done. Once I heard they had no random testing I thought Pac had a chance though hehe. I would have lost big money because I would have bet heavily on Joshua and Thurman.

I should mention though, if I was allowed to use hindsight like EO does, I could have bet and lost and not have to pay - get my record cleared? :OhYes:

PAC/dlh was my biggest gambling win ever so maybe I felt I owed him. Lol, Thurman lacks power and he isn't faster. That's where I was coming from.

When DLH came in underweight, I knew the game was up.

Sadly I'd already bet by then.
