Nice amateur career including 2 Olympics and 5 times in the World Championships!! Too bad he stayed in the amateurs so long. At 33 it may be too late for Maestre, even though he's being fast -tracked!!

Impressive amateur resume and a very good early start in the pros. As already mentioned, he’ll need the longevity of a Bernard Hopkins to have a long career.
