Tony Bellew: Best win?

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Carrying on with my 'Best Win Series'..

Image

He had a record 30 wins, with 20 KO's!

Which was his best and/or defining win?

What was his best KO win?

Some names that he has fought include:

Bob Ajisafe
Ovill McKenzie
Danny McIntosh
Edison Miranda
Isaac Chilemba
Nathan Cleverly
Mateusz Masternak
Ilunga Makabu
David Haye

--------------------
Another question..

Regardless of win/loss.. Who was his best opponent?

From the list above, this would include the likes of:

Adonis Stevenson
Oleksandr Usyk

What would you say was his defining win? Can’t be Haye surely.

The Haye wins are the most eye catching ones he ever had to me.

Maybe Makabu as it was unexpected that he'd win the way he did.

Haye was a broken fighter, he had definitely seen better days.

Which was his best and/or defining win?

Ilunga Makabu. That was his biggest win. A World title conqured, while he was an underdog. Furthermore, Makabu remained on top even after that bout.

What was his best KO win?

Probably Makabu as well. Haye demolitions looked spectacular too, but there's not much worth in them, as crippled Haye only had his name left with him.

Regardless of win/loss.. Who was his best opponent?

Oleksandr Usyk for sure.

Bellew best work in the ring imo:

Ilunga Makabu tko3 - wins his only world title

David Haye- tko11, tko3- by far the biggest name he defeated regardless of where David happened to be in his own career.

Nathan Cleverly- avenges a previous loss

Chilemba and McKenzie are solid wins as well imo.
Best opponent? Usyk

Everyone who beat Tony was a world champion too, he recorded some solid wins, won a world title, challenged for a few more and landed some big paydays along the way.

Not going to be in the hall of fame but had a very solid, respectable career.

Him and probably Masternak.

Shows how Bellew's career went really.

Good on him, made it money wise.

I think another flaw with Tony is that he never beat a champion..

All belts we won were vacant..
