MTK worst show of the year?

Also, it keeps those boxers busy and a pay day just before Christmas. A better main event wouldn't have hurt admittedly.

We're spoilt rotten these days with boxing shows up and down the country every week and multiple TV outlets. They can't all be sensational cards.

Winning records are not a gaurantee of good fights ,, more a gaurantee someones being fed easy fights ,,


Main thing is , when you get two guys who , can't fight , has long has there evenly matched , and think they can fight , you will probably end up with a good fight , might not be a technical fight but probably entertaining ,, evenly matched is the key .

In fact went to an ameteur show a couple of weeks ago , and it was a ripper , every single fight was edge of the seat stuff , from the guys having there first fight threw to the guys at the top who had represented there country .... It was all down to good matchmaking

That's why you got to love amateur boxing It's not done for the money. Bouts are 50/50 at worst 70/30 on club shows. Pro game the home fighter pays his opponent out of his ticket sales if he don't he don't fight. Pro game is pony at the lower level
