Re: Round-by-Round: JD NXTGEN | Riakporhe vs. Jack Massey - 19 December 2019
Government is having an emergency meeting to pass a law that Riakporhe v Okolie can never happen under the punishment of life in prison.

If points had of been taken early doors the fight would have been so much better and even though Massey has got a fantastic chin it might have actually favoured RR who carried the power .
Bad refereeing as seen to often .

Re: Round-by-Round: JD NXTGEN | Riakporhe vs. Jack Massey - 19 December 2019
I had it 115-114 for Riakporhe but jeezo what a fvcking borefest, I actually thought Massey probably had the better of it over the minutes mainly due to the workrate and him forcing things, he wasn't landing much clean though and Riakporhe stole a few roiunds at the end by hurting Massey or landing a big shot, Riakporhe raw as they come though, makes Okolie look like Pernell, both guys were guilty of holding and both should've been docked, ref was shite, just kept warning them for 12 rounds, how Riakporhe never got a point off is a scandal , especially late on, it was ludicrous, he has raw power though but is too wild to get the job done, Massey takes a shot though i'll say that, I just wish he would've kept targeting the body
The knockdown in the 10th was bogus, just a clash, Massey had his best spell after getting up, I gave it 10-9 to Riakporhe

Main Event
12 x 3 mins vacant British Cruiserweight Title
RICHARD RIAKPORHE v JACK MASSEY
Jack Massey, undefeated in 16, winning eight through knockout is aiming for a vacant British title against Richard Riakporhe.
Riakporhe has had 10 fights but has had a huge year of experience. Inexperienced compared to Massey compared to amateur fights but is far more experienced in the elite fights.
Early on, Massey started to get in his rhythm with his jab. Riakphore starts to use his power his in right hand and begins to work on the inside of Massey. Both fighters showing their power late on in the second round as they start to find their feet.
Big punches from Massey, showing he wants the British belt. Riakphore comes to life late on in the third. What a chin Massey has, he felt the power from his opponent as riakphore unloaded heavy punches.
Massey reacts well in the fourth producing good body shots. But the tempo has dropped a lot of clinching where the referee intervened. Round getting a little scrappy.
Shots being exchanged in the 6th but again Massey withstands riakphores power. The fight is very close, could be either fighter in the lead at this stage in the fight.
Round 8... the fight explodes as Riakphore unleashes his power and unloads terrific punches and Massey takes them. He looked a little shaky with his legs but as the bell rings, Massey exchanged words to his opponent before walking to his corner.
Good word in the ninth by Massey and blood begins to appear from riakphores nose. The contender has shown great resilience to get back into this fight after the messy third round where he looked like it could have been an early exit in the fight.
Last warning giving out to riakphore as he clinched yet again. Massey seems to be edging this fight with his superior fighting work-rate but he went down in round 10. Blood continues to pour from riakphores nose.
Final round, the score is up in the air as to who is edging this encounter. Riakphore throwing big punches as he seeks a knock out to win this bout. As the final round draws to a close, riakphore again is guilty for clinching his opponent. Massey hurts riakphore right at the death. But who deserves it? Who landed the cleaner punches in the fight?
Riakphore has the main highlights of the fight but Masseys game plan outwitted his opponent but it is up to the judges verdict.
115-113, 115- 113, 117-111 and Riakphore claims the vacant British cruiserweight title.

RR is like a lower-tier Okolie. I thought it was pretty much an even fight tbh and Massey didn't get any breaks with the bogus KD and no points being taken off Porky.
