Vacant The Ring Magazine title at stake
Former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury has officially announced that his rematch with WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on February 22.
Fury, who is rated No. 1 by The Ring at heavyweight, was deemed very unlucky to be awarded a draw against the American knockout artist in December 2018. The enigmatic Englishman was dropped twice but controlled the majority of the contest with superior boxing skills.
“It’s on! Feb. 22 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, watch me knock out Deontay Wilder AKA The Big Dosser,” said Fury via his official Instagram account.
Wilder, who is rated No. 2 by The Ring, responded: “After February 22nd there will be no more unanswered questions. I will finish what I started, and this time @Tyson_Fury will not be getting up off that canvas so quickly. I’ve proven myself time and time again and I will do it again in February. #WilderFury2.”
Fury, who is recognized by many as the lineal heavyweight champion, and Wilder will also contest the vacant Ring Magazine title.

Joshua believes Fury cane win a twelve round decision over Wilder - if he sticks to a solid game plan.
"Fury has taken some relatively soft-touch fights to get his confidence back and is going into the new year as a new man with a new team and a new mindset. He must feel something within him that is new, and he wants to be the new heavyweight champion," Joshua said to Sky Sports.
"He can beat Wilder providing he follows his game-plan for the 12 rounds. Wilder has shown that you can't blink for a second with him, because it only takes one punch. A good boxer, who is young, fresh and can follow a game-plan, can be victorious for X-amount of rounds [against Wilder].
"Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit. Ortiz got hit with a big punch but Fury is evasive, a lot bigger, flicks out his jab. He is quite difficult to hit. Fury fought Wilder the first time after a long lay-off."

Any news or rumours on a UK leg to boost PPV sales? allegedly would be crazy not to get DDD headlining that. Good exposure.

Staying at MGM 4 nights .
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
I think you may be right.
Last time, for some reason, Wilder tried to box a far superior boxer (and I think took Tyson a little lightly after the lay-off, as we all did). but this time i think will be a bit more reckless, a bit more wild and look to go absolutely banzai on Tyson if he hurts him at any point.
Truth be told, Fury was a nano-second from losing and no one would have complained if the ref had waved it off when he was flat on his back

Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
It's Wilder's style to be stand offish until he hurts his opponent, that's the reason. Without his power he'd be a very boring fighter, he is not an agressortobyh5 wrote: ↑27 Dec 2019, 15:44I think you may be right.

Can't believe it's clashed with a Legions show , hopefully they'll have another before end of season .

Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
Any idea of ballpark price for a decent seat? Ie not in Gods.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
I hope this happens. I really hope that this doesn’t get cancelled for some reason. This is a huge fight.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
People voting for Wilder by KO? How come? He already had his chance and he blew it. The Gypsy King will make more adjustments. This time no judge will save Deontay.

Wilder just needs some range adjustments. Was overthrowing his shots last time.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
Tall ask going off his last two performances. Wilder’s power is unreal and so he is a huge threat to end the fight at any given moment. Fury is guaranteed nothing and will have to perform with maximum concentration. Great fight. So interesting.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
Fury has shown to make adjustments just like that, something Wilder cannot. Keep in mind Gipsy King is now training into a Kronk environment...
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
Wilder has already landed clean on Fury, that didn't work. I don't know, what else he can do now. This time Fury has an American back up - grandpa Bob. So, this time there won't be pro-Wilder judging. And, of course, Fury will take Wilder this time more seriously and more also seriously, than his two previous opponents.
Re: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II - 22 February 2020
I know enough that I cannot make a call on this fight. Anyone who thinks that Wilder can't make adjustments are wrong. Anyone that thinks that Fury can't make adjustments are wrong. The only thing I know is that I'm stoked for this fight. Currently, Fury is the biggest threat to Wilder and Wilder is the biggest threat to Fury.

Both has been making adjustments, yet Fury has been better in it.oogiebe wrote: ↑27 Dec 2019, 18:59 I know enough that I cannot make a call on this fight.
