No. Even the author of that book couldn't defend his claims in the BBC Freddie Mills documentary. It was complete fiction and he was obviously ashamed of himself!
I can’t say I know too much about it, only heard the rumours. How did the serial killer thing all come about then?
He was thought to be "Jack the Stripper"

Corrales was terrible as well given that he was only a month removed from a fight, and 2 years to the day from the fight that defines his career.
How bout Arguello's?
Also a damn shame.

The mysterious nature of his death left sufficient space for charlatan authors to spin whatever ridiculous solution they liked. The author of the 2002 Freddie Mills/Jack the Stripper book is interviewed in a 2018 BBC documentary. He admits there is no evidence for his claims and he is clearly deeply embarrassed by what he did. He all but disowns the book!

Not pro boxers but...

Paulie Palomino and the rest of the US Amateur boxing team, LOT Polish Airlines 1980 Warsaw crash...what was particularly weird and made this more tragic was that a conference on aviation safety was being held across the street from where the plane fell at that same moment...
