Obviously not, that's why I said it. Semantics really, I'd rate him first but no I don't think he's the best and he definitely hasn't faced the best the division has to offer.
Well at least you acknowledge he's the #1 guy in the division.
Though your bias against Loma is becoming increasingly obvious to me. You seem to react to him somewhat like EO reacts to Crawford or The Charlos.

Oh, right. I am sincerely and deeply sorry for my treason to King Loma. He has my undying support from this day and will never be questioned again.
You beat the top guys, you are top guy. Sorry if that offends you.

I must've missed when Loma beat Mikey (around when Linares was), Tank, Teo, and Haney.

You're in love with him. I'm not biased against any fighter.

Mikey left the division. Tank JUST got there last night. Haney is a contender without a belt. Teo just won a paper title. Hope this straightens it out for you. Try to pay attention in the future.
He's not one of my 5 current favorite active fighters. I just acknowledge talent when I see it.
Don't know what's funny, but I no longer care about discussing Loma with you. You're obvious biased against him for some reason which I don't particularly care to find out. Enjoy yourself.

By all means, make a baseless accusation and run away from it.

Is there any Eastern European fighter you talk favorably about? It is hard to not accept that best light heavies are from there, but what about other weight classes?

for one, loma.
I must have mixed you up with Ms Thatcher who clearly hates "Russians".
Ya, the East Euro fighters are such poor helpless victims of evil hate filled Western fans. It is your duty to get on the internet and protect these poor sons of the soviet my friend

Gamboa is well past his prime but he's not quite as finished as Paulie was making it out. He beat Jason Sosa in 2017 and Roman Martinez a few months ago. He's probably better than anyone Haney has fought so far.
I signed up for a 7 day trial for Showtime specifically for Tank/Gamboa. Pascal/Jack stole the show. Gritty showing from both. I thought Jack edged it, but not irate with the decision. Pascal was very tenacious which was probably the deciding factor.
As far as Gamboa/Tank.... I initially thought Gamboa was looking for a way out after the 1st knockdown. But it became obvious as the fight went on the he had legitimate issues with his right foot. Kudos to him for fighting on. But hurt foot or not, Tank beats Gamboa every time. Tank looked good, but he did display some lapses in there. I find this a disturbing attribute for Tank when discussing a potential Lomachenko fight. But I thought the same thing with Canelo's lapses early on as well and look at him now.
I still feel Lomachenko is at least a level above anyone else surrounding his weight class. I used to be a pretty harsh critic of Loma's when he first turned pro. I thought it was cocky and insulting to fight for a title right off the bat. I thought Russell would be the guy to derail the hype. I know this sounds crazy, but Lomachenko he is the best boxer I have seen since I started watching the sport over 20 years ago. I think his footwork, pace, output, combinations, and endurance would befuddle Tank. But I've been wrong before
