More info on 9th round
Zerafa almost stopped Horn in the ninth round, who seemed to be done. The referee checked on his cut, which also gave him time to recover. He came back and knocked Zerafa down twice on the last minute.
The final round went the distance. The verdict heard a 94-94, 98-90, 97-92 decision in favor of Horn.

Had there been no knockdowns, Horn would have won via Split decision instead of majority.

Former WBO welterweight champion Jeff “The Hornet” Horn (20-2-1, 13 KOs) turned the tables on WBO #4, WBA #7, IBF #13 middleweight Michael Zerafa (27-4, 16 KOs) over ten action rounds to win a majority decision in their rematch on Wednesday night at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia
Horn came out aggressively in round one, but suffered a cut over his left eye. Horn continued to dictate the pace as he kept up a consistent attack that had Zerafa on the back move. As the fight progressed, both fighters landed big shots. Zerafa was cut over the right eye in round five.
Zerafa rocked Horn in round nine and tried to finish him, but the bout was halted by the referee to allow the ring doctor to examine Horn’s cut. When action resumed, Zerafa continued his assault and then out of nowhere Horn connected with a huge right hand that dropped Zerafa. Zerafa beat the count but was knocked down again! In the end, scores were 98-90, 97-92 and 94-94. The WBA Oceania and WBO Oriental title were on the line. Zerafa stopped Horn in nine rounds in their first bout.
Unbeaten super featherweight Liam Wilson (5-0, 3 KOs) scored a bloody ten round unanimous decision over Mauro Perouene (11-3-1, 6 KOs) for the vacant IBF Youth title. Wilson dropped Perouene in round one, then get dropped himself after the bell! The bout ended up going the full ten with Wilson winning 100-89, 99-90, 100-89.
Super middleweight Tej Pratap Singh (16-4-3, 8 KOs) won an eight round majority decision over former IBO titlist Renold Quinlan (12-7, 8 KOs). Scores were 77-75, 78-74, 76-76. Quinlan lost his fifth straight fight.
Unbeaten welterweight Andrew Hunt (6-0-1, 3 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Czar Amonsot (25-4-3, 22 KOs). Scores were 80-72, 80-72, 80-72.

Horn beating a guy (Zerafa) who wasn’t considered a top middleweight until he originally beat Horn (who also wasn’t considered a top middleweight) will get him a title shot vs Murata for his secondary, BS paper belt. Probably not a bad scrap between two guys who would never beat the best in the division.

I ain't watched the main event yet. Just saying, put Hunt on your prospect list. He beat the #1 Aussie welter who was 35-3-3 in Hunt's 7th outing. And it was a win every round showcase! Super fast hands, good footwork, varied combos, and cracking single shots. 22 years old, limited Am and still green. Imagine Josh Kelly with some pop. He is at about that level.

It was awful to watch. Zerafa Wants Jeff Horn Trilogy, Not Happy With Ninth Round
Michael Zerafa is demanding to get a trilogy fight with Jeff Horn in 2020.
Zerafa stopped Horn in nine rounds back in August, in what was Horn's debut at the middleweight limit of 160-pounds.
Horn, a former WBO welterweight champion, exercised an immediate rematch clause and forced Zerafa to take a second fight.
The second fight took place on December 18th in Brisbane, with Horn winning a ten round majority decision.
During the fight, history appeared to be on the verge of repeating itself as Zerafa had Horn in very serious trouble and seemed to be close to a knockout victory.
Unexpectedly, the referee called for a break in the action for a ringside doctor to examine a cut on Horn. When the action restarted, Zerafa went back on the attack for the finish - but he was dropped hard when Horn caught him cold with a counter-hook. Horn would then score a second knockdown. The 10-7 round sealed the deal for Horn to win.
"I think everyone thought we had the fight there. I just wanted an explanation. There was no break in the action, how can you stop a fight to look at a cut that happened in round two," said Zerafa's trainer, Blake Caparello.
"You gave a break to a guy who had wobbly legs. It definitely affected the outcome ... the ref has to live with that."
Zerafa felt Horn was taking a bad enough beating in the ninth that it should have been stopped. After the fight, Horn's trainer Glenn Rushton revealed that one of the other cornermen had asked him to throw in the towel during the ninth.
"We thought we did enough in the night round ... the ref thought different," Zerafa said.
"It should have been stopped ... the whole ninth round he didn't throw a punch. The ref didn't think the same. One hundred percent there definitely should be a third fight. There should be a trilogy."
