Long term maybe not so much, as I wouldn't consider the winner of that fight a particularly good challenger for TC. Maybe about as good as Danny Garcia would have been.
Yeah, I agree. :TU:

To be fair, thirteen of Danny Garcia’s bouts were against current/future/former world champions, which includes the likes of: Nate Campbell, Kendall Holt, Erik Morales (twice), Amir Khan, Zab Judah, Lucas Martin Matthysse, Lamont Peterson, Paul Malignaggi, Robert Guerrero, Keith Thurman, Brandon Rios and Shawn Porter.

He’s also contested nine world title bouts (three at 147lbs, with the remainder at 140lbs). Danny is also ranked in sixth in the welterweight division by both The RING and ESPN

Therefore, Danny Garcia is vastly more qualified to face Terence Crawford at welterweight than Josh Taylor is.
I wouldn't go that far. I'd rather have an undisputed 140 pound king challenge TC than the #5 or #6 guy at 147 who hasn't had a meaningful win in 4 years.

That was hard to watch... green ko codrington

I like how he totally discards horn beause of his gift decision.... doesnt mention the gift Peterson got against felix diaz because it boosts crawford
Crawford bad, pbc good.
