He needed to stay busy and take the best available fights for him when champions like Sturm, Martinez, Quillin, JCCJr, Cotto and also Canelo were "playing ostrich" back in the days.

Now that G got older and faded, suddenly he looks so appealing. lol

Middleweight world titlist Gennadiy Golovkin’s first defense of his second title reign, which is due to be against unbeaten mandatory challenger Kamil Szeremeta, is being planned for March 28, likely at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena but with other sites also in the picture, a source with knowledge of the plans told ESPN. Initially, GGG’s fight was being targeted for Feb. 29 in Chicago. The bout will be the third of Golovkin’s three-year, six-fight, $100 million deal with DAZN.
