I honestly think the second knock down he was out and the following left woke him upLoki wrote: ↑21 Jan 2020, 10:37Although give him credit for getting up and coming back in the 12th, he wasn’t caught cleanly (chin) or temple with either shot. He was not out. Watch the replays.kbackup408 wrote: ↑14 Jan 2020, 18:31
Fury is too smart, the lad was sent to a different universe and still found a way of waking up
Man, I wish Tyson Fury could pull out a 'Wladimir Klitschko' type of victory against Wilder but....

Wlad has always been a bit reticent and I think at his age, he found it hard to pull the trigger against an opponent who was feinting all the time.Loki wrote: ↑14 Jan 2020, 16:16If Wilder puts in half a bad a performance than Wlad did against Fury - Tyson will easily beat him.apollo creed wrote: ↑14 Jan 2020, 16:04 This time a have the feeling Wilder's right hand gets the job done via T/K.O. Anyway I hope Fury will prove me wrong.

To this day, I don’t know why Wlad didn’t let his hands go but he was past his best then.
Against Joshua, who uses very little head movement, he did much better, but unfortunately, he waited far too long to finish him off, and let him off the hook. It's very hard for a fighter to overcome their nature.

Well, sometimes changes are needed. I never thought I would see AJ run from a short fat guy either, but it worked for him.danconnollyeire wrote: ↑21 Jan 2020, 11:55Some people just don't fight like thatBandog wrote: ↑18 Jan 2020, 07:59
I just can't see him being successful without more of a body attack vs Fury. Imagine what even one huge liver shot or one heavy shot to Fury's solar plexus would do to him. I think it would be worth the risk. He wouldn't even have to sustain a constant attack. I could be wrong, yes, but would like to see him try.

Disagree. Wlad wasn’t the same fighter after the Pulev win. His performances against Jennings, Fury and AJ, although the latter was better, were pretty woeful considering how dominant he’d been.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑21 Jan 2020, 17:01Wlad has always been a bit reticent and I think at his age, he found it hard to pull the trigger against an opponent who was feinting all the time.

I wouldn't have minded him losing by KO either a few years ago, and still anticipate it'll certainly happen at some point in his career, but as far as this weekend is concerned I'll be rooting for Deontay 100%.

What if you could only have 2 outcomes
1. Deontay wins by brutal KTFO and finally 'gets a body' on his record
or
2. Fury wins in a dominant performance

I detest wilder a bit more than fury !
Primarily apart from him being a twat , he has a shit record for a HW champ and its clear he will avoid AJ more vehemently than fury would .
That said I see wilder doing the biz and knocking fury spark out.

The likelihood of Wilder ever getting a body on his record his minimal. He's not the type that hands out beatings exactly. He just puts guys out with a few big shots.
I'm sure there's bound to have a been some instances of somebody dying of brain injury due to just 1 brutal shot KO'ing them, but it's definitely not as common as somebody getting a serious injury following a sustained beating from a lighter puncher.

Considering the quality of the Blubberweights division I would not be surprised to see these two behemoths stumble around for another 12 rounds and end with another draw. There is no one on the horizon who can ever stir up the public like Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, etc again. As long as good big men decide to spend their time playing baseball, hockey or football, the heavyweight class will continue it's decline.

Imagine Fury actually knocking Wilder down but like barely so not a hard knock down even a little pushing from Fury and the ref instantly waves it off.
