I agree it's the only chance. Usyk is not a fast starter but Chisora has never looked good against a guy that boxes from the outside and uses movement
Chisora does look good when someone wants to go toe to toe but Usyk is too smart to do that.
Chisora needs to go on the attack hard at opening bell to have any chance. Which still will be next to no chance.

I read (an hour ago) on Ukrainan site RINGSIDE24 that there was an interview with Edie Hearn on IFL TV ( to be honest I have never heard for this TV) and Hearn had confirmed that there was a great possibility for this fight.

I hope/expect that deal will be finished ASAP.

Chisora is over the hill ... but i think still i should favour chisora. Usyk is very overhyped, new david haye.

I believe pulev beats USYK. lets see if USYK fights anyone in top 10, before fighting joushua.

Not even a contest.

Chisora is about as much use against boxers as a chocolate fireguard.

Usyk is arguably the best pure boxer on the planet.

I'd be surprised if Chisora landed a punch on Usyk.

I've noticed more and more people say it

He was a great amateur, an ATG cruiser who cleared it out, and has a dominant win over a guy who is a solid top 15 contender now at HW. Some people overhype him but some of the hype isn't baseless. Stuff like people being confident Joe Parker beats him---I just don't see it myself.

Landed a punch? We all saw how USYK eyes looked after a fight with old bum jazz witherspoon who lost to garbage Seth mitchell years ago.

Lol Witherspoon maybe landed like 15 punches all fight. I doubt he landed much over 7 or 8 percent of his shots. I really don't know why people treat that like some poor Usyk performance. A poor opponent doesn't mean he himself was poor.

You're not far off. Compu box only had 21 shots landed by spoon.

Doesn't take many punches to mark some guys up, he hardly got hit, watch the fight not his face. Vitali once got marked up by Kev Johnson in a fight where Johnson hardly threw or landed a punch

Still the question is why even after 7 rounds he couldn't take out witherspoon who because had empty gas tank had to retire

Usyk came off an injury and some time off. I wasn't impressed with the win, but we'll see how he performs next time out at HW. Got to assume that impacted his performance which was fine. Not great, but not bad either. Nothing to see here.

Got the stoppage baby :yay:

Maybe you'd be more impressed if he got dropped on his butt like Efe?

I wouldn't advise that you start smoking what I'm smoking, otherwise you might start bigging up Kubrat Pulev or maybe claiming that Anthony Joshua isn't British or some other offbeat nonsense.

I would urge you to rewatch Usyk V Witherspoon and see if Chazz landed much more than a dozen punches.

Chisora is better than Witherspoon, but he is completely hopeless against skilled boxers and Usyk has 10x the skills than virtually anyone Chisora has fought.

Im convinced that there are people here whose hobby is actually hating on the top guys not appreciating boxing.

There are too many of you who look out for fan threads about someone and you just go there to lecture us that Joshua is bad, Usyk is overrated, Fury has no skill and Wilder actually doesnt hit hard.

Usyk is clearly good but I’m definitely not as convinced in his heavyweight future as others are. I don’t think he has a prayer against the top three, so that leaves him as merely a contender for the rest of his career I guess, although a lot of people will probably agree with that

For every shot Chisora tries to get off Usyk will shoot back two or three. When the "delivery boy" meets the Ukrainian man the Ukrainian man will gun him down.

Ya, a lot overrate him, but I think people saying Chis is 50-50 pick them or they're confident Parker beats him are undderatin Ussy. Chisora is tailor-made for him and Parker really doesn't bring the attributes or style either. He may not prove people wrong on beating the top 3, but he can prove certain ppl wrong just by handling those other guys
