That's what I mean about Gavin, he almost seemed uninterested in the ring, I'm just guessing but the difference is in the desire to win, he seemed like he'd trained to do just enough to win.

Thought skeete deserved the nod against him. Really annoyed me that decision. Wouldn't call it a robbery (like every close fight seems to get labelled nowadays) but skeete was so much more committed and wanted it more, so I really hoped he would win.

As for bareknuckle, Gavin obv thinks it's an easy paycheque he won't have to train too hard for.

Skeete was his last decent win 5/6 years back and he arguably lost that one. He made hard work of Woodhouse as well and a lot of folk thought he was lucky there. With all due respect to Woodhouse, someone of Gavins skill set should be beating him wide on the cards at the very least....

He performed well with Beans of toast. But it’s a gateway drug.
Soon the addiction had kicked in. He found beans with the sausages in, Heinz all day breakfast in a tin.
The end was night when he found spaghetti hoops.

Nobody can deny Frankies gifts, for sure he was more suited to the amateurs in that his weaknesses was punch power and stamina.
Nevertheless he definately underachieved and this was down to lifestyle and commitment.
Maybe his natural gifts made the amateurs too easy for him.
It is impossible to have achieved his amateur success without phenomenal talent

Khan may lack chin and a defensive instinct when hurt but has always been in great shape. Gavin def could have had the same success or perhaps more with the same motivation.
