Andrade v Keeler RBR

Post by jameswilson »

Haven’t managed to get any footage from a stream of the early undercard but the UK footage starts at 2am.

Happy to see the first of my bets has come in. I have £100 each on Roamer Alexis Angulo and Dani Roman, as well as £40 on a double for both fights.

Angulo was a big betting underdog against the over rated Anthony Sims Jr but managed the SD win. I’m guessing he will have won clearly once we get to see the full fight.

great pick on Angulo :salut:

I thought he looked a bit of carthorse and Tony Sims' boy was too muchy of a prospect - well done.

Hearn says Andrade is potentially the best middleweight in the world...really? and how's he's going to prove it by facing the likes of Luke Keeler?1

Feel like Roman is letting some air out of the balloon here. 5th round here and he’s sunk a few decent body shots in.

Wonder whether this might be a bit similar to that World title defence Anthony Corolla made against that guy who splattered Kevin Mitchell.

Bare in mind he’s house fighter and defending champ.

I know it shouldn’t count for anything. It I remember feeling when Jamie McDonnell beat that Japanese crusher that being defending champion did him some favours with the judges.

This is close.

MJ's physicality vs Roman's experience. Very hard to pick a winner.

Feels like MJ has stopped conserving energy now he's got to the 10th and feels ok.

MJ looks so strong he can win a fight on body language.

I think I've scored a draw.

Weird that in a close fight MJ just took the first 2;20 of the 12s round off.

He did the same in the first half of round 11 and won it on Mathew Macklins card thanks to landing 3 punches in the last 15 seconds.

Yea, he didnt throw much all fight to be fair. compu box is going to make it look like a massssive robbery. over all i didnt score it but had it about even. could of gone a round or 2 either way.
just think MJ didn't really go after it like the better apearing boxer, with no name, fighting a unified champ should. got away with it in the end though i guess.

This figures to be another very close 12 rounder... :box:

Scores ?

I'm saying JJD 10-9 wanted it more and landed repeated body shots in the clinches.

Cuts like that fro. Head clash in round 2 should be stopped for me. TD is a fair decision. Can run it back later. Now the fight will continue and the cut and head clash will have a massive effect on the outcome
