Yordenis Ugas vs. Mike Dallas - February 1, 2020
Re: Yordenis Ugas vs. Mike Dallas - February 1, 2020
Wow the corner stop the fight. Dallas had his best rounds in 6 and 7 and seemed to be coming on in terms of activity. He also didn’t appear to be hurt. When I say best I mean his best only as I’d scored them for Ugas. Sure Dallas didn’t win a round (according to me) but he was showing a good amount of resistance and heart. The stoppage therefore wasn’t justified.

Well that was a non event.
Ugas has absolutely nothing to offer at the pointy end of the welter division.
The most interesting part of that bout was how quickly Thurman (on the commentary team)changed the subject whenever the Pac fight was mentioned

I think he’s an interesting addition. I’d like to see him and Danny Garcia go at it.

What a fight. What a first round. When Collard went down just after he scored a KD, the referee had a little smile on his face like wtf is going on here. If it’s your last fight as a boxer, he had nothing to lose and just went for it.gilgamesh wrote: ↑01 Feb 2020, 22:16 6 Round Middleweight Bout
Raymond Guajardo (5-0, 4 KO) vs. Clay Collard (5-2-3, 1 KO)
These 2 guys just fought one of the most entertaining 1st rounds I've ever seen, and then Collard scored the upset in the 2nd round!
This is a must see fight!
Supposedly Collard's last Boxing match, as he intends to pursue MMA. If so, what a way to leave the sport!

I would imagine referees/judges usually get into their positions because they're fans of the sport. The ref probably had a smile on his face because he was enjoying the fight. Still doing his job, but enjoying the fight as well. I know I would've beenRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Feb 2020, 07:04What a fight. What a first round. Hell even if you just KINDA like the sport, how could you be bored by a fight like that?
