Big R1 for Hskins -he looks as good as he ever has.
Standing in the pocket banging in hard (and low) shots at will. He ties up and makes it ugly when he's finished too.

If he doesn't get docked pts or gas this fight is his.
Big IF....

David Oliver is fighting like his brother Big Joe.
The Juggernaut tactics are the perfect strategy for an aging Haskins. - who can't keep DOJ off.

DOJ keeps coming and almost gets the stoppage.

Haskings 29-28 up but unlikely to last the pace.

Haskins looks old and shot.

He's bravely hanging on and trying to take DOJ out with a one-shot counter.

Haskins floored and injured his already strapped up leg.

DOJ keeps throwing and it's a mercy stoppage in the fifth.

That's the last we'll see of The Playboy "Lethal" Lee Haskins - so good they named him twice.
Some absolute stinkers, but overall, I salute his great career :salut:

Haskins was an expert in stinking out a joint. He won't be missed

Even when he was landing shots I thought Haskins looked terrible. Off balance, lunging, falling in, even more so than at his worst, i.e. the Don Broadhurst fight which is one of the most deadly fight I've ever laid eyes on. Definitely should hang them up.

McComb needs better opponents than this lad. Cully is one to watch.

Statement from Gary Cully stopping Joe Fitzpatrick in the 1st round, it looked like Fitzpatrick just came out to hyped up, he was bouncing around with too much nervous energy leaving himself open for the calmer and sharper Cully, who landed a hard right left that decked Fitzpatrick, I thought there was no way he could get up but he did , ref took a long look at him and let it continue, Cully measured his man well , wobbled Fitzpatrick again and got the stoppage with Fitzpatrick trapped against the ropes and not firing back.

It got a bit fiesty in the crowd straight after with a jubilant Cully celebrating, but he calmed it down and made sure both sets of supporters saw him commiserate with Fitzpatrick.

It was a clash of unbeatens early in their careers, so even with this loss Fitzpatrick can come again.

Haskins has overachieved in his career after getting beat by Munyai and Napa in the Maloney days. Hopefully, he made enough to pay off his mortgage. Sure he will become a good boxing trainer.

I know Haskins wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he retires having won pretty much a full set of belts: English, Commonwealth, British, European and a portion of the World title...

Well done to him.

Not many can say that.

Did he win an Area level belt?
