He offered to make that fight ages ago, and then when everything he wanted was arranged for him, he fucked it off and called Whyte a bum. If I was Whyte I wouldn't be getting too excited.

Tyson Fury is sticking to the story that he will only fight three more times in his career, but has changed one of the names in his three-fight plan.

The Gypsy King announced in January that he is planning to fight Deontay Wilder for a second time, before boxing Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, then bringing his career to a close.

As he often does, the unbeaten heavyweight has now changed his tune, saying that Whyte is off that list and a third fight with Derek Chisora is on it.

Fury has already beaten Chisora twice, way back in 2011 when he outpointed Del Boy, before forcing him to retire when they met again in 2014.

It is not exactly the trilogy fight that boxing fans are clamoring for, but it is apparently now the bout that Fury wants to wrap up his career with at the home of Manchester United.

‘From boxing, I want nothing. I don’t want anything from boxing,’ Fury told BT Sport.

‘I’m happy just doing what I’m doing, ticking along nice and slowly and just take a few more scalps before I hang my gloves up. Three more.

‘I’m going to knock Wilder out, then he’s not going to want a rematch.

‘Then I’m going to fight Joshua and beat him too.'

I wouldn’t take too much notice of what any boxer says, they’re good a boxing but generally talk rubbish, make bad decisions and constantly change their minds

6'3" Mike Massimino needed a custom suit IIRC, and was considered borderline. You'd have to be an intellectual colossus for anyone to make an exception at Fury's size. Unless they'd like a more visible human subject for a time-dilation test or summat.

But he could pay for a nonsense PhD in the US and call himself Dr Fury upon completion, sure. He has the capacity for that, if not the application.

Perhaps they want to test the space effect on someone wanking off seven times per day? :maybe:

Astronauts have to exercise daily for muscle retention, so he might as well continue his current regime.

Just punt him out near a black hole with a watch and radio and have him give updates until he's out of range. Wait until he's fiddled and diddled out of crossing the event horizon and pick him back up.

He literally gave an interview last week saying he would fight the three best of this generation (plus Chisora again  ). Retire for a bit, then try and take on the next generation in his 40s.

He talks a lot of nonsense to hype fights, playing up to the camera, and keep his name in the media.

The media love it too. That metro article is clearly based on the interview I watched, but they chose to leave out the part about another come back.
