POUND FOR POUND

Post by THEHAMMER321 »

Since Rocky Marciano was a small heavyweight , he might not have beaten the much bigger heavyweights but ''pound for pound'' he may have been the greatest, instead people match a 220 pound George foreman against 184 pound rocky Marciano and talk about what the much bigger man would have done to him, but pound for pound what would have happened ?

Marciano would have beaten most heavyweight champions. Pound for pound among heavyweights is a little complicated though. At a certain point, it becomes a disadvantage to weighing more.
