What is next for Danny Jacobs

Wondering where is heading his career now. That dismantling of Chavez was pretty impressive to me.

No point in keep busy type of fights now. He should go for the belts.

His manager says hes headlining a card end of May. No opponent rumours yet. Id imagine if not a title fight maybe a Ryder or Lemieux final eliminator kind of fight.

Can't say I'm too bothered to watch him fight anyone. Very underrated in the department of dull.

I’d say Callum Smith, if Smith doesn’t get the Canelo Alvarez opportunity.

Callum Smith, BJS, Andrade, Caleb Plant or Benavidez. Jacobs needs to fight one of these guys next. For me there's no point in fighting lesser opposition. :box:

Jacobs is still a good name fighter.
I believe he has been on the slide since GGG, and I expect that to be his career best performance.
Right now, I think he is a tough night for anyone, but more beatable than he was at around 30 y/o.
Maybe it was the GGG fight, or his past medical issues + age catching up with him.
I just don't see the Jacobs from 2017. Any of the top MW's have a good chance of beating him, except Plant.

He and Callum Smith are both DAZN guys now right? That fight should happen.

If Smith doesn’t get Canelo it will surely only be Saunders or Jacobs.

Saunders likely does good UK numbers.

Jacobs is big fight for DAZN.

Would be a good bout.
Some decent, competitive match ups to be made at middle-super middleweight.
